Huh? His parents, who brought him when he was 5, got "legal" but didn't include him in their legal work? Doesn't make sense. And he's 18 and a junior? Year behind and was in US for kindergarten. What happened to that year?
Could it be he had juvenile crimes and could not become a citizen? I was once totally deceived by a student in the USA. He said he came to the USA to escape the drug cartel in Mexico who expected him to sell drugs just like his dad did. His dad was killed in Mexico. At least that is what he said. When he moved to another town, I was happy. When ICE called asking questions, I gladly told everything. My Assistant Principal who was the son of an immigrant, would not talk to ICE. He was scared of the cartel. I was too ignorant of their power to be scared.
Such a great kid but WHY was he targeted? His parents weren't since he was able to contact them. So I wonder when the true story comes out? Just because the town is rallying to his defense means nothing since we saw how congress critters rallied to the defense of an MS-13 member.

What? My ancestors came to the colonies from England. WASP here. My husband's Spanish ancestors came here even before mine. His native American ancestors were already here. My husband has an Anglo first name. His father who proudly served in WWII had a hispanic name. His great-great uncle had one of those funny first names that are used in both cultures (Benjamin) and he fought in the Civil War for the Union. Care to rethink?

Why are kids today in America given full Spanish names? This isn't the early 20th century, closed off & tight knit ethnic communities don't exist anymore. Now American communities are mixed. Today, Hispanics choose to give their kids full Spanish names for a reason, they don't wish to adapt/assimilate, they don't respect our great culture, they don't respect our customs, they are invaders.

They did that to a guy here in Canada too. His parents came to Canada when he was 1 year old he never new he was from Norway.
At the age of 36 he got charged with theft for something small and during that period they discovered he was not a legal Canadian. It took 3 years of fighting and he lost they sent him back to Norway where he knows no one and doesnt speak their lanquage. His parents had both died years ago in a car accident.
I have never seen a muslim fight deportation and lose they always win. Only whites are actually deported in Canada.
