Some will say "but my kid was fine until he was vaxxed and then he had autism"
Well that's a very good counterpoint. I admit. But that doesn't account for all the autism cases. They don't all turn out like that otherwise we'd have an answer wouldn't we?
I say that autism is multi-causal and can come from cumulative insults.
I would not allow my doctor to prrform ultrasounds or the doppler fetal monitor at all. The little wand that they listen to heartbeats uses ultrasound! Doctor insisted on "dating" my pregnancy using a stethescope. You hear the heartbeat at 20 weeks. I had to have weekly appointments at 18, 19 amd 20 weeks. They heard the heartbeat at 20 weeks.
I also would not be in a room with a microwave. This was before cell phones or I would have stayed away from them too.
I'm concerned about the described power levels of "high-intensity" ultrasound. Millions of milliwatts/cm2 is a thousand watts/cm2. This equates to 10 million watts/meter2. Which corresponds to a sound level of 190 decibels, about 100 times louder than a jet engine. I have a hard time accepting these as valid numbers.
Not sure about that, but it is intresting. My wife and I definitely said no to 3D ultrasounds. Babies look all gross in those photos anyway. I figured that we wouldn't know what sort of affect it might have on our baby's brain and such.
I remember looking into ultrasound's potential harm back in 2006 because I wanted to rent a heartbeat scanner when I was pregnant (my previous two pregnancies had miscarried so I was terrified of losing my third). There was something even then about it - if my memory isn't completely shot I think it might have been that there was an increased chance of the child being left-handed with more frequent ultrasounds? Something like that. I was willing to take that risk for the peace of mind lol.
We don't know the half of it when it comes to the impact of frequencies on child development, pre and post-partum. We're now in the age of pregnant women spending a lot of time with ipads etc rested on their 'baby bumps'. The rise of autism is distinct in the past 25 years, and culturally there is a correlation between that and the rise of 'personal' technology.
