Even got interviewed by Jesse Watters at one point. This guy has a little backwoods church in Benton, Arkansas and no one would have ever heard of him had it not been the Elvis conspiracy, which tends to make me think he helped get it started.
Weirdly I know a ton about this because my kid found him. He actually denies it completely which only feeds the flames. However gotta say his preaching brought my boy back to the Lord when he was lost because he thought God was mad at him. So I can’t be mad about people think he is Elvis. I don’t think so but hey if it gets more people listening to the word there is that. Seriously though my kiddo couldn’t even listen to my radio station in the car without getting upset and I think being exposed to the word at that time helped bring him back. He had a heart for God as a little but illness and idiots hardened his heart and for a time it was easier to think God didn’t exist then it was wondering why God did this.
