Thats BS he said nothing about Canada. In Canada our health care is paid through taxes that is why taxes in Canada are way higher then the US.
Dont start blaming other countries for what you cant afford. If you dont want to pay higher for healthcare then pay more in taxes.
You would be complaining if you had to pay the taxes we do here in Canada. That is the worse thing about Americans is they always blame everyone else for their problems.
I remember the blackout in 2004 all through Canada and US and there is the US news all over blaming the black out on Canada. Then you discover oh it was the US fault it was their grid but not one of you apologized for blaming us.
Canadian healthcare is also fully subsidized by American taxpayers. Canadians and Europeans are parasites who leeche on backs of hard working American taxpayers.
I live in Finland and last time I saw a doctor I paid €8 because it was fully subsidized by American taxpayers.
It would go too far here to describe the differences between the healthcare systems in Germany and the US. That is why I would like to focus here on just a few logical gaps in the argument.
Do you know of a single corporation, not just in the pharmaceutical industry, that would not extract everything it possibly could from its customers? Even without extensive medical knowledge, my conclusion is that Big Pharma in the US, for whatever reason, CAN charge immensely higher prices there than in Germany, for example. That is not the fault of Europeans! I don't think that their corporations in Europe are not making any profits, and American drugs are certainly not offered here at lower prices than in the US out of philanthropy!
In the interview, J.D. Vance applies balm to the American soul. Why open another can of worms on the home front when there is such a convenient foreign culprit to blame?
Vice-Versa is also true. Every time you DON'T see a doctor and you DON'T take medicine that you don't need... Europeans have to pay more for their own health care because you weren't picking up the tab.
Except Europeans don't pay more even if you don't use healthcare because you're still subsidizing those parasites. Last time I went to see a doctor I paid €8 for that visit because rest of the costs were subsidized by American taxpayers.
This is so true. And so many medications are available at the pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription in other countries.

Yet your fellow countrymen keep voting in the same candidates who are responsible for you high taxes

Next time... opt out.

Cheaper medicine? I have to pay $175 every two weeks for Tramadol 200mg. I wish Canada/US made my drug less expensive.
Yes... Is that all about socialized medicine except for everybody else.
And if you think our private health Care is better it's not. It used to be but it's not anymore.
