Axios dropped a two-page memo this weekend, from President Trump’s DOJ and the newly installed FBI leadership of Director Kash Patel and Deputy Dan Bongino, asserting that:
Epstein definitively died by suicide; No “client list” exists; And there is “no evidence” he ever blackmailed the powerful.
All it means is that it's taken this long to be sure all - and the duplicates -have been destroyed

Bondi, Patel and Bongino are all liars. I'm not sure why they are now telling us that Epstein killed himself, there is no client list and he was not blackmailing anyone. It makes no sense and I for one am NOT buying it. The Trump Administration is lying to us.

old investigations can be opened as long as the statute of limitations doesn't expire. double jeopardy applies when something goes to trial. what went to trial to qualify for double jeopardy?
But this was an investigation where the results found were that no new charges should be or were filed. This stands as an official record. Maybe double jeopardy is the wrong term but because of this I'm not sure the admin can go over all of this again without a big reason or completely never seen before evidence. It's not like the MLK or JFK files yielded new convictions, even if there were people still living.
They had the option not to issue this memo and keep the investigation open. Even a bad lawyer would reference this memo in future charges as evidence of innocence and ask what changed?
The part that concerns me the most if this is true is the timing. Somehow the BBB passes, with a bunch of holdouts being converted at the last minute, and then a few days later somehow this investigation vanishes.
Maybe the military is the on!y way. Maybe the guilty will be taken for tribunals rather than summoned for trial.
