Ok, it’s been more than just edited. If you play the video, and step by step scroll from 11:58 to 12:00, the view of the room changes, after the missing second, the room appears wider, like the camera angle was readjusted. Something definitely hinky there. Wonder if drop #1159 is relevant. Any autists out there?
The angle wasn't readjusted, the aspect ratio was. For whatever reason it was stretched either before or after.
Not sure the cause, but it wasn't because the angle changed.

It could be caused by the overlay during the playback of the recording. The odd thing about that though is the overlay pops up before the transition AND after suggesting this wasn't a direct extraction from the device, they were screen recording it's video output.
It appears someone causes the overlay to pop up likely to stop/pause the source video while the video recording continues slightly, they then resume the source video and resume recording on the video recording. Very odd if you are trying to hide the fact you're cutting out a section of the video.
Given that it happens at 11.59 that suggests an artifact of the clock itself and maybe a "disk switch" (new file for a new period starting at 12) type situation, so the sequence spans two video files played in sequence, with a skip.
But that doesn’t explain the change in aspect ratio, does it? Commenter iLLNESS corrected me, said it wasn’t an angle change but a change in aspect ratio.
True, you would expect them to be same, so they must have had some intervention. A deliberate wink maybe (we all know things are being hidden).

Based on this vid ^^^ the camera that we see the footage from here in the released 10 hour video isn't even the camera nearest to Epstein's cell, the one that "went offline" just at the same time the guards "fell asleep." So we still aren't even seeing video footage from near his cell.
Well, in their defense, AI is still a nascent technology.

This seems so dumb though. So you're saying they released this, cut some footage for whatever reason, and didn't bother to fix the timestamps? I mean if this was your personal video, and you were guilty trying to hide something, would you choose to release the video with cut footage and not even bother to see if anyone could tell?
