This is the story of my life! I was printing articles, 30 years ago, to read at home, in my spare time! In my country, at that time, civilians didn't have internet/satellite connections, so access to information, (good and bad), was limited. At that time, I found myself believing a lot of what was published. Living in a corrupt third world country, you can easily be led to accept Marxist and Communist ideologies! That is the world you are presented with and it seems better than what you have! Reading all these articles, however, led me to questioning, because it led me to understanding that powerful people have been running the world for centuries. Eventually I saw the matrix! Once you see it; it becomes a heavy cross that you bear! Ignorance is trully bliss!
This is completely accurate. I'm tired of the mistreatment from others. If you're willfully asleep, too lazy to research or develop arguments, or lack discernment at this point, that's on you.
I am of two minds about this.
Yes, there are people that are analytical and do the work of researching whilst allowing the data to guide them. You are allowed to have hypothesis and preconceived notions as long as you allow the data to guide you.
But just like any segment of the population, you also have people that have a preconceived notion and will cherry pick data that agrees with them while ignoring data or patterns that go against their notion.
both people can be right, and both can be wrong, but the latter is definitely a more dangerous methodology and can often lead to a slippery slope.
The worst offenders are those that will bash defame those in the same team that are also doing critical research of their own, that happen to come to a different or antithetical conclusion. Instead of bashing, talk, debate, not to win points but to understand and learn the others point if view. We are all in the side of truth here, so when somone here has a different point of view, respect it, challenge it, but be willing to be challenged yourself, and sometimes be willing to accept that the truth is not always what it seems.
Especially when ALL of the media rely on the 4:00 am talking point email they get every morning rather than do any research at all.
...how tru
That's the best one of this type I have ever seen and I doubt anyone's going to beat it
