I've watched my school taxes rise over the years as the K-12 schools demanded money for computer tech, laptops, iPads, etc. As someone who has spent years in the IT field, I've always wondered what was wrong with the standard chalkboard that was low-tech, simple, affordable, and infinitely reusable, along with paper and pencils. I've scratched my head over this for years. It never occurred to me that the reason for it was this insidious. It should be a wake-up call for all of us.
The deeper I've gotten into IT and the more security people I've known, the less tech we have in and around our home. Always remember that, when testifying before Congress in the Capitol building with their laptops, the head of the FBI and Mark Zuckerberg each had no better protection on their laptops than to literally tape over the camera and mic. Seeing people have cameras and mics at their doors, listening devices in their homes talking to their kids, blows my mind.
They aren't teaching the kids how to actually write (in cursive) with pencils & paper anymore. My son told me this about his now ex-wife's kids, they weren't being taught how to write in cursive. I told him they needed to teach them at home then. Funny how concerned my son was over this as he never liked to write in cursive when he was a kid, lol. But he knows it's important to know how to do.
The schools my grandkids attend use Class Dojo. This is disturbing. I would believe they are on old operating systems as when one of these assigned laptops goes down, it can take several weeks to be repaired. The network is closed so you cannot access it from your own computer at home, only computers at the school. These limits can put a kid behind real fast as most kids come and go on a school bus. There’s an “F” clearinghouse like once a month or so where you can catch up before grades are locked in. The teachers have a few days after the last school day to get grades and corrections in before the records are locked in with the school district and cannot be corrected. It’s very strange.
They've taken unfair advantage of children as a captive audience with absolutely no parental oversight. That has to stop.
Put a camera in every classroom, where parents can view with audio anytime they want...but some ahole will probably abuse it and F it up for everyone. Just like always.
If you look back at the initiation of Common Core, teachers were putting out alerts right away about the sneaky and intrusive data collection from kids, through tests and surveys and teachers' inputs on their records.
Way back in the dark ages of early NOvid and BT (Before Teams), all the public institutions in unison jumped on the Zoom bandwagon without any checks and balances. There were articles at the time about how school 'Zooms' were finding their way onto streaming platforms in China and such.
If I can find specific articles later I'll link. At the time I was in Social Work and we were instructed to do everything by bastard Zoom, I raised the alarm about these reports but not one fuck was given by management.

I agree 100%. I don't own anything, other than a laptop. No cellphone, no ring doorbells, no Alexa, no smart devices, nada.

Not only that, but writing something by hand helps cement whatever you're writing about into your brain. Typing won't do this.
Agreed, otherwise they will not be able to read the US constitution and then lose their rights because they couldn’t read what their rights even are.
Yea, in my view, we're in Biblical times. There is no stopping the technocracy.
I believe the mark of beast, AI, Quantum computing will be the beginning of the end.
yep. nobody can learn anything on a computer.

Disturbing isn't it? I have no clue about any of this.
See what these evil bastards did?
If mothers weren't tricked into working - they'd be finding out who's putting claws in their children...
Now nobody knows what's they're REALLY doing to your kids. Setting them up for a life of surveillance and being preyed upon right out of the gate.
All these schools need to burn down.
I have been screaming about don't kids to school (public school), that is. Although I was in public school and a good one too but it has a while.
There's a video on TikTok, someone did an experiment and found out we were all born genius, by the time we became adults, 2% genius due to school.

That has been discussed.

Did not know but not surprised.
If anybody's kid has an ipad or the like issued by the school they take home, assume that it's recording EVERYTHING. Because it probably is.
I am sure.

Definitely please post.
We need millions more like her!
Amen
Another great reason to keep your children away from devices (and public schools)
AMEN.
Gates is celebrating because the list is no more. fuck he is rich. wtf
Money talks and shit walks and I know this is not good.
