President Trump had a huge opportunity when he came into office to suspend all further aid to Ukraine and make it clear we want nothing to do with this. Unfortunately he doubled down and signed on for more aid packages. Trump does not care about the bloodshed, otherwise he would have stopped aid.

President Trump saying that he would end the war in 24 hours is hyperbole which was repeated plenty of times on the campaign trail. He also did stop funding and arming Ukraine. What NATO does with the US supplied weapons is their business. The following were never promises:
Leave NATO
Withdraw from Europe
End the war within 24 hours (Impossible even for Trump)

Ukraine has, time and time again, cried wolf while attacking Russia and trying to encroach on their territory. They attack, then play victim when Russia hits them back. Ukraine is not a victim here, and that tranny buttfucker who runs the country is getting rich off the rest of the world. Supporting them is flat out wrong.
Whatever Trump's deal with Putin, he needs to understand that Russia has a right to exist. NATO wants to take it over, and has gone against their agreement to not spread NATO further. Russia is surrounded by enemies on all sides, and their purpose is to finally take Russia and break it into more pieces and turn them all into liberal shitholes like Germany, France, UK, etc.
So, personally, I can't see how any freedom-loving person can support this move or any move that gives Ukraine money or weapons. Selling the weapons to NATO doesn't really change the fact that this is a roundabout way for the US to give Ukraine more weapons. And I am against it. 100%

And the whole, "NATO is paying for them" is bullshit, since we're the ones paying for NATO.
We are paying for NATO, but President Trump forced all other NATO countries to pay 5% of their GDP for NATO. Only Spain refused. They fucked around and will soon find out (FAFO).

NATO is NOT paying the 5% now. They agreed to pay the 5% in 2035.... last I checked, it's still 2025.
Furthermore, all of the weapons NATO supplied to Ukraine thus far will count toward their 5%.
So again, we will be funding this bullshit in Ukraine, just as we did under Biden. There will just be some shenanigans with shifting the money around so it gives better optics to people who aren't able to do the math and follow the money.

Instead of sending billions to Ukraine, he is getting NATO to send the money to US to buy whatever weapons they want from US and give it to Ukraine at their own expense.

Over $500 billion the USA has already sent to Ukraine. The USA is still actively arming Ukraine even if someone else pays.
