The above verse is not talking about "Jesus." It's just simply talking about the birth of the future "Ruler" (ie 'king') of earth, and makes more sense now than it did 18 months ago when I first started saying it, and yet some do not want to see it because it does not fit with their current belief systems.
OR they simply do not wish it to be true/happen.

In this verse John telescopes the entire history of Christ's earthly ministry, stating (as if it had happened all at once) that her Child was caught up to God and to His Throne.
I voted for Donald Trump (twice) but he's not going to be "King of the Earth", at least not in any spiritual or biblical sense. He's a mere man and just like us he is fallible with a fallen nature. Maybe I've misunderstood what you wrote....
