The staffer told the FBI in December 2017 that “the mood within HPSCI was indescribable” after Trump's win, and that Schiff “was particularly upset, as he believed he would have been appointed as the Director of CIA” had Clinton won the election."

As I understand it, treason basically is giving aid to an enemy power during war...so, it appears that many of these people are going to have to be charged with conspiracy and sedition instead, the fomenting of overthrow of the government

Serious question:
Wagering pencil neck gets charged with treason and is convicted. Do we, the public, get to see the hanging or is he quietly ferreted away and a body double is "jailed"? Are we going to see all the horrible scumbags actually brought to justice or is it going to be smoke and mirrors where everyone thinks they are still out and about?
It's one of the most valid questions. I feel, after mankind has been subjected to the satanic, power-hungry whims of these earthbound demons for years (decades? centuries?), that at the very least we are entitled to see the real perps suffer and pay justice for what they've done. I don't care if it's hanging, or a firing line...either will suffice, but I want to SEE their abject fear before they lose their life.
Real question here. How is it that we see so many of these types of reports but yet these people walk free like nothing is happening.
If any of us were accused of things where there was credible evidence (sometimes with no evidence) we’d be sitting in a cell somewhere. At what point does an arrest happen? Instead it’s like, here is an invite to a closed door meeting to come tell your side of the story.
