Rare occasion he speaks English. His command of it is not the best. So he prefers translators.
And this is to my knowledge the first time he spoke in English publicly during a meeting with a U.S President.
Not to be a debbie downer or trying to cast shade on this pic, but look at the feet of Putin and Trump. Do they look odd to you? Putin's right foot seems to be longer than normal and Trump's feet seems askew from a usual standing posture.
