Yes, they do,but you have to squeeze things much harder. I have tens of thousands of hours gripping tools, and if I wear gloves, my hands get tired real quick. Im also wearing gloves without wearing gloves.....
Won't they stick to it if it is always electrified? Maybe have it turn off for 20 seconds after being on for 3-5 minutes. Then there won't be as much of a fire risk.

I wonder how hot the wall needs to get before the rubber starts to melt on the gloves and they stick to the wall?
Just electrify it and be done with it.
