Painting a screen or fence black makes it "invisible". Because of the way the eye works, it's easier to see past it. Might this make it safer for border patrol?

I thought the natural rust color looked cool and blended better into the environment. Perpetual painting (a la Golden Gate Bridge, which is always being painted) is INSANELY expensive compared to electrifying the wall and buying some signs saying if you touch this you will be burnt to a crisp and fed to animals.
