I work in Toyota service. It’s your door plugs. It happens on cars when they’re brought into port and not given the proper delivery prep. Take it to a Toyota and tell them to “check if your door plugs are still in from pre-delivery process” tell them “I know this has been happening on these and Rav4s” they should just pull the plugs out for free.
So that happens on all cars, if not for lazy asses forgetting to pull the plugs you would never know. It’s normal, all cars filter the water from rain down into the bottom of the door. Then it just trickles out. When it becomes a problem Is water building up with cold freezing weather. Your door panel can pop or your window stops rolling down (that’s a whole lot of frozen water though). Once the plugs are pull you’re good to go.
Love the Rolla! I have one too.
Does your car have a moon/sun roof,if so,the problem is your drain holes are clogged up ,they will be located in the front corners of the slide roof jam and the drain lines run down the front windshield posts and drain out behind your front tires ,you can take weedeater string if its stiff enough and run it down the drain holes or use a air compressor to blow it out ,good luck fren hope this helps.
the door seals are probaly mounted to the car body around the inside edges....if they are dried out you may be able to soften them up with armoral if cracked they need to be replaced...dont know what area you are in but in hot dry climate they will dry out and crack
Your lower so called rubber window strips? They crack and dry.... Very little oil in our rubber today. Those are called window scrapers and they stop water from going down inside the door.
If it's going into the car or the inside interior of the door, check your door gaskets!
Where is the water? Are you talking about the plastic trim that your arm rests upon while driving (Inside of the cabin?) or are you talking about the area inside of the door where the window rolls up and down within?
They are down inside the doors. Water so full they were dripping out the bottom so we discovered a plug at the bottom at the door and opened it up and released the water.
Look at the trim on the top of the window sill (this is about waist high when standing next to the car) on the outside of the door. If it is not contacting the window then water can get between the trim and the window. I have that problem with my Prius. I don't care because it is 20 YO and is now a beater. Yet your whip looks newer. Try gently pushing the trim towards the window and see if it helps the situation.
Are they at the bottom of the doors? I pulled them out to drain the water already but I don't want the water coming in there though. Is there a way?

Thanks.
When water condenses on the inside of your windows, it has to go somewhere. So I would pull the plugs and wait and see what happens.
Looks like there are multiple YouTube videos discussing this issue and fixes.
Oh ok. I will go look.

No moon or sun roof.
Going to mechanic tomorrow so will tell them to check. Thanks.
sounds like the door seals are shot ...or gone
Where would that be? By the windows?
around the inside edges of the doors...there are also window seals....
Ok. I will go look. Thanks.
Mechanic on Thursday so that's good.

I am right by TX.
yes could be dried out and cracked......
This! Happened to my car when it rains. Not a home project without panel tools and a little knowledge about it.

Ok. I was looking at the rubber today because of all the information. Thanks.

Ok, I will do that.
