I think many of you are missing the big picture in this. They are attacking their own small business entrepreneurs. Trump put in a loophole to throttle the big players and allow the small guys an equal playing field and the EU is stomping out their own middle class.
What a wicked group of people run these once great nations.
It is a shame for all humanity that the liberal progressive mind set is in control of national policies while the people themselves do not support it. And then the rulers scream about threats to democracy.
At the best of times, their own middle class was pretty thin compared to the U.S.A.'s middle class. And mobility was always negligible by comparison. Those were countered by a much better safety net for both middle and poor classes, but that net seems to be unraveling together with the freedoms they used to enjoy ...
They don't have the money they used to because Trump upset their tariff apple cart. US was paying for their safety net.
