Every population in world history has had sexual miscreants. The sex drive has to be powerful enough to keep the species going, but it needs to be held in check for the sake of individual rights. Some people have difficulty with this balance, but Christianity has the best theological tool, the Golden Rule, to reduce the number of miscreants by having people think about what’s good for other individuals and not just themselves.
When Christians do evil, they are violating their beliefs.
