We got lazy and stop using our brains for directions or mapping when relying on GPS, got lazy while researching and just rely on AI for summaries..
I better stop then. I remember I used to drive everywhere without GPS and how I remembered all the roads, no idea.. now I need GPS for everywhere..wow..
It's because people are chronically bored and forced to write about stupid shit nobody cares about... So, their brains aren't fully engaged. They're just trying to do this anyway...
Everything is broken... mostly because of greed and trying to control everything and everyone.
Let's not forget c19 and "essential workers" - There were some bumps in the supply chain... but honestly, was anything REALLY unobtainable during that time? No.
So what does that tell you? That there's a WHOLE LOT of "unessential" "workers" in the world - basically not needed for society to function... and this was observable BEFORE the proverbial AI takeover of everyone's job...
When I was in corporate 25 years ago, I observed what I call, "Rock washing jobs" (from Irwin Schiffs excellent book ) - where people who really do nothing ALL DAY except roping productive people into stupid meetings to justify their own existence and mind numbing reports and spreadsheets based in fantasy forecasting - and get paid WAY more than the productive people... started to become"all the rage " in EVERY COMPANY.
As someone who grew up in family businesses, it left me confused why they'd just waste company resources on douchébags... There's a SERIOUS problem across America with this sort of thing... Countless enslaved in jobs they hate, slowly dying under florescent lights in padded cubicles, stuffing their faces with crap from the snack machine while hopes of winning the lottery keep them going for a few more hours that day...in hell....be on your best behavior...MSTEAMS is watching and recording your every move....slave ...
Exactly. The mind numbing of the population fucked us all. We all wake up at the same time, get into the same car as half the people in town, drive to the same place as most people, to get told what to do, when to eat lunch, when to go home, when you're allowed to take vacation. And then we all go home and do it for 5 days a week and call it living while we waste away under loans and debts up to our nutsacks because you can't own anything, but you can certainly get taxed for anything. The country is financially prosperous but mentally and spiritually dead. Parents don't raise their kids anymore, the state does, and now we have a whole generation of people raised by the television and the teachers with nose rings and Kool aid flavored hair, because the parents are buried in a dead end job that overworks and underpays them. Its tragic, and i long for when we can get closer to homesteading again as a society

MIT Graph LLM" is not a single model, but rather a collection of research initiatives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that explore how large language models (LLMs) can be combined with graph-based reasoning to improve performance. Graphs, such as knowledge graphs, provide a structured way to represent data and relationships, which helps overcome common LLM weaknesses like hallucination and poor logical reasoning.
An LLM, or Large Language Model, is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) program that understands and generates human-like text gby learning from vast amounts of data. LLMs, like ChatGPT, use deep learning and transformer architectures to predict the next word in a sequence, enabling them to perform tasks such as answering questions, summarizing text, translating languages, writing code, and creating content.

Your Brain on ChatGPT: Accumulation of Cognitive Debt when Using an AI Assistant for Essay Writing Task — MIT Media Lab
Over four months, LLM users consistently underperformed at neural, linguistic, and behavioral levels. These results raise concerns about the long-term educational implications of LLM reliance and underscore the need for deeper inquiry into AI's role in learning. (Everybody needs to use their BRAIN.)
I always do things the 'hard' way, I actively avoid shortcuts when it comes to thinking and learning.
My brain may give me an unfair advantage in this regard but people really need to relearn the positive of challenging and difficult, to get in the habit of seeking out the reward that comes from success after repeated failure.
People need to be taught to see difficult and challenging as positives.....

Starting tomorrow, no more!
Same here. However, the roads I used to drive on were all farmland, now it’s all suburbs.
And the streets in those subdivisions look like the designers kid used an etch-a-skecth-hard to fathom the drives, ways, streets, and aves...😒
Yep.

They make it sound sensational and scary but just have a reasonably motivated use of ChatGPT and you’ll be fine.
It’s kind of funny when you consider this in context with the latest Grammarly ads on YouTube.
They always have dumb but happy DEI hires who seemingly can’t function without Grammarly AI writing tools.
They don’t realise how close to the bone they are with this narrative, or do they?
This is horrifying.
It’s already too late for you brain dead, sorry 😀
LOL

You touch on something crucial that a lot of people miss and strongly supports the fact that the education system is broken.

AI, making All Idiots that use it.
The brain is malliable. Ot can easily be reversed with mentsl exercise.
AI is like any other program. It's only as good as the info input into it. Don't trust it, don't use it
