Trump won the election. Give him time. He's already brought prices down and stopped inflation. He's made the country safer already. He stopped crime in many places. Golden Age already began, and it doesn't mean it's dangerous in this country! It's simply not for the majority of smart people. I literally don't know any victims of crime from 2025.

Not terribly far back, a lot of us were calling for say, the execution of Ruby Freeman (executions being lawful if found guilty, of course). Many people had to be talked down right after Kirk was shot, after the stollen election, and several other times. Were they shills or just being too emotional in the face of repeated traumas?
I still don’t think what’s going on right now is a good way to go, on a permanent basis, but as a one-off, they’ve already supported doing far worse, and desperately need to be humbled, if it’s possible. In game theory this would be the “return the favor” before extending the palm of friendship back out.
Conspiring to murder/assassinate someone extrajudiciously could absolutely carry a much stiffer charge, genuine incitement could be harsher, too, but I still think we should be careful. Viewing this all as a teachable lesson in accountability for our consequence-averse “fellow citizens” is probably good, though.
