I don't think depriving yourself of water is a good idea.
Coffee? Juice? Soda? Alcohol? Sure.
Water? No.
Dehydration hurts. Ask me how I know.
Kidney stones?
Severe headaches
Agree. I think life expectancy drops to like 3 days without water.
💯 agree. I would like to be better about adding electrolytes without sweeteners the next time I do a 72 hour fast.
I believe you can get stem cell action with wet/water fasting and regularly being in ketosis. Dr. Courtney Hunt teaches how to switch your metabolism to ketosis from carbs and she incorporates fasting. Her site has a free ebook too.
Edit: she emphasizes ketosis isn’t a diet it’s the metabolic state of getting your body to run on fat instead of carbs. She rec 3:1 fat:protein or your body can/may convert protein to sugar anyway (gluconeogenesis).
AI on latter: Gluconeogenesis Pathway and Definition Gluconeogenesis is the metabolic process in which the body creates new glucose molecules from non-carbohydrate sources, primarily in the liver and kidneys, to maintain blood glucose levels during fasting or starvation when dietary intake is unavailable. It uses precursors like lactate, glycerol (from fat breakdown), and glucogenic amino acids (from protein breakdown) to synthesize glucose through a series of biochemical reactions. This process is essential for supplying glucose to the brain and other tissues that rely on it as their main fuel source
Makes me wonder if people in the 1500's to 1800's ever suffered from cancer. Could the modern food, things out of a bag, can or box, be the cause of cancers? If you cannot pronounce the food ingredients the first time you read the label, is that food good for our bodies? God made natural nutrition for humans and we lived for millennium with probably few side effects. Now big Food puts chemicals in every packaged food so it has a long shelf life. Those chemicals were not made by God but by corporations wanting a financial payday. Plus evil people are at the heads of these corporations, which makes me think they only have stock holders to worry about, not the people eating their food.
Pioneers canned food for the winter and salt cured meats. The difference was no preservatives. The “canning” was more dried beans and vegetables which can be rehydrated.
Thank you
Yw and gl on whatever fasting path you choose!
I've done 2 to 4 days with no problems and feel great after. you will experience extreme fatigue.

No. And if a water fast it should be water that has a pinch of sea salt added to each glass. That is in fact extremely important. I like Dr. Ardis but recommending no fluids fasting is extremely unwise, if in fact he did.
I've heard of dry humping
No, never done it.. how many hours?
I'd try 6 hours out of curiosity. I think the Muslims do it once a year during Ramadan and they lose a lot of weight, then gain it all back rest of the year and rinse and repeat... but in general I noticed they aren't very healthy people.. They have the most sickness and diseases due to their diet.
Done 24 hour dry fast a couple of times. Depending on your purpose, stressing your body in this way probably does more harm than good. That goes for fasting in general, I think. That said, I didn't find it too difficult, just a little boring. Oxidation of fat does release water, so you won't die of thirst. Remember that skin is an organ, so if you're serious no long baths or showers, or swimming.
….said no Irishman ever. 😂☘️🤣☘️😂
Kek! 🍀
Only 5 days max
Well, if you can do 5 days I know that either way by the end you will be a lot closer to God ;-)
Yes I have. It’s very short term. Water fasting is easier but dry fasting is successful at really clearing the body and removing dead cells. Stay at home and have company. They try to say you can’t live without water after three days that’s nonsense. My dry fast was 24 hours long enough for me.

Yes. I have. You always start with water fasting. Intermittent fasting 16:8 works great.
I had to train up to 16 hours for water fasting. Had to have some food around just in case of epic anger due to low blood sugar. This took about 3 weeks.
Do the same for dry fasting... work slowly from 12 to 16. Before going longer.
Avoid: heat, heavy work outs.
Do: Breathe deep via your nose. You will start to produce water from your fat.
A 24 hour dry fast will leave you with amazing energy levels.
