The rise of 'coffee culture' has been a total menace here in the UK. EVERYWHERE here now that does food to go does 'barista' variety coffees too, and whereas once you could be in and out to quickly grab a sandwich, now you're stuck in a queue for 10 minutes whilst people - and sorry to say but it's overwhelmingly women - arse about ordering frothy mocha chocca pumpkin spice lattes and whatnot. These coffee 'connoisseurs' invariably also have no concept that other people might be in a rush to do things like, oh I don't know, get back to work. There's usually only one or occasionally two people serving, thanks to LABIA hiking up national insurance employer contributions, and the bloody things seem to take forever to make 🤬🤬🤬
No cash. No sale. Just from their mask shenanigans during COVID and blatant violations of the Constitution for not allowing cash now, they need to sued into oblivion, hit with Anti-Trust action (cartel-type behavior manipulating coffee supplies), and replaced by local/regional coffee firms. StarNoBucks.
They started a war on Christmas a long time ago, they said they would hire illegal refugees over American veterans, promoting trannies.... I wonder where they went wrong?
On the way to work real American red blooded guts and glory coffee is bought at a gas station by the freeway ramp. Anything beyond that is ghey coffee for Nancy boys.
I love love LOVE the coffee I drink from Columbia. He and his sister immigrated from Columbia and became US Citizens. He imports beans from a family farm in Columbia, roasts the beans himself and has two shops in my town. His sister is a State Police Trooper. Love them both.
Good grief it HAS to be way more than only 80% profit.
They buy coffee by the ton and sell it by the cup. I'm thinking in the region of 500% profit, if not over 1000%.
It's like liquor, they buy it by the case and sell it by the shotglass - if you can't rake in the profit$ selling booze, you don't have what it takes to own a business
I'm referring to the price you pay for their beverages. If they charge you $5.00/cup, they make a profit of $4.00. It only costs them a dollar to make it.
I decided that figuring out variable compounding interest over time was too hard and unpredictable given my not-very-sophisticated financial skills—plenty of other people here can do that a lot better than I could!
The Paper straws and non dairy cream or milk, they switched to Gates, did it for me .. adios! Dunkin donuts got $6 meal combo- sandwich, hash brown, coffee
I never liked Starbucks because I thought and still think their coffee sucks. I tried other drinks when compelled to go and in my opinion they ruin everything they touch.

Oh sorry. When I go to the coffee shop, I buy a cup of coffee and put creamer myself. Buy a croissant and that's it.

Good riddance.
Let them go down.

Oh what a song. LOL
Actual song is I remember.
On the way to work real American red blooded guts and glory coffee is bought at a gas station by the freeway ramp. Anything beyond that is ghey coffee for Nancy boys.
IMHO, of course. :-)
I second that opinion. No lefties at the coffee pot at 3:00 am in the station by the on ramp.
Your people are trash as is your product.
The coffee I really like to drink is from Laos. It's excellent.
I love love LOVE the coffee I drink from Columbia. He and his sister immigrated from Columbia and became US Citizens. He imports beans from a family farm in Columbia, roasts the beans himself and has two shops in my town. His sister is a State Police Trooper. Love them both.
Hard workers both of them and both very based.
Fun Fact for Those Who Care
The country in S. America = Colombia
All other usages = Columbia
Colombia beans are good.
Is that the cat shit coffee?
Not kidding.
Just set up one of those coffee machines and let people make their own cappuccinos. Lol
Amen.
Maybe people have started figuring out that $5.00 a day for coffee only (no food) adds up to $1825 EVERY YEAR?
You could be drinking away your retirement income!
One year:
365 X 5 =1,825
Ten years:
1,825 X 10 =18,250
All invested in your gut …
Their profit margin is in the neighborhood of 80%. Let that sink in.
Good grief it HAS to be way more than only 80% profit.

You forgot to add the interest that could have been earned on that $1825/yr - :)

Better off putting that money into a few silver rounds every month !
The Paper straws and non dairy cream or milk, they switched to Gates, did it for me .. adios! Dunkin donuts got $6 meal combo- sandwich, hash brown, coffee
Looks like another victim of NGOs drying up the money flow.
I never liked Starbucks because I thought and still think their coffee sucks. I tried other drinks when compelled to go and in my opinion they ruin everything they touch.
Maybe the vast majority of the population going MAGA...
Eventually people realize it’s overpriced woke shit!
Racists' fave coffeeshop
Get woke, go broke.
FUCK BIG COFFEE AND THEIR GAY SYMBOLISM
If memory recalls this happened in early 2000s as well. New CEO issue?
