What Wray Actually Said
During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on July 12, 2023, Rep. Andy Biggs questioned Wray about the presence of undercover FBI agents at the Capitol on January 6. Wray responded, "As I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents on scene"
This statement was made in the context of discussing undercover agents, and Wray did not deny the presence of other types of FBI personnel, such as informants.
Inspector General's Findings
A December 2024 report from the Department of Justice's Office of the Inspector General (OIG) examined the FBI's involvement on January 6. The report found that while 26 FBI informants were present in Washington, D.C., on that day, none were authorized to enter the Capitol or engage in illegal activities. Only three informants were assigned by the FBI to be present, and one entered the Capitol without authorization

I was in the crowd on Jan 6th. It was peaceful. I found it strange that before Trump was done speaking outside the WH, tons of young men, I'd say many more than 274, started to leave. Why leave while DJT was speaking? I later learned about informants, false flags, and the timelines. I'd hypothesize that 274 is still a very low ball number. They set us up from start to end.
