This has been really weighing on me. If a religion doesn’t believe in Jesus Christ, does that mean that it's tied to the "spirit of the antichrist"?
Is the antichrist being revealed to us not as a person/figure but as a spirit within people?
1 John 4:3: "But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (NIV)
2 John 1:7: "I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist."
1 John 2:22: "Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son."
It's becoming very unsettling and I don't know how to process the extent our government has aligned with people who don't believe in Jesus. We've always said this is a battle of good vs evil but I thought everyone would recognize evil when it appeared like it has been. Apparently I was wrong.
We aren't allowed to have nativity scenes in public buildings or prayer in schools but we allow a religion who doesn't believe in Jesus to be deeply involved with our FBI and our elected officials even training them!! We give them money and they use it to destroy our Christian fundamentals and commit acts that go against what Jesus taught.
Their version of religion taught them they are God's chosen. But yet they reject his only son? How absurd does that sound! How have we gone along with that for so long.
They love to falsely call us racist, homophobic, antisemitic. But we don't call them out as anti-christ when they blatantly proclaim they don't believe in Jesus Christ. Maybe we need to start??
My heart hurts. I feel like our country has gone a long with betraying Jesus. Am I wrong for feeling this?
I apologize if this post offends anyone. I know there are wonderful people who don't know Jesus. I'm talking about the people who do but aren't defending Him.
We defend Jesus best not by words or calling out sin. Rather by letting Jesus work inside of us more and more each day. Turn that anger into motivation to let more and more Jesus in. Yes we want to identify those that are corrupt and leading astray. However that is far more then just the Jews. Satan's minions are everywhere. We need to become the light more and more so the darkness is forced to flee.
Praying for you fren. We are family and I am here if you ever need to vent some more. Been a heavy week for me personally. Yey I have learned these moments are usually followed by alot of growth. Together through Christ we have endless potential
well said
Thanks fren.
I absolutely love your username. Great stuff.
Hey so it would be a YUGE blessing for me if I could pray for you. Anything specific I can pray for
that's so kind of you, I could use them. The Christian responsibility is to make disciples and I'm part of a discord where i'm combating a member of the satanic temple and a supporter of antifa. and other people who are agnostic and I just need guidance with my words and to remember to pray for them. or do I leave it ALL in God's hands? if I can turn one person to Christ I would be so proud of myself and I'm giving back to God when I cannot any other way
Um, we’re not called to be combative when spreading the gospel. We’re to preach the gospel, if people do not wish to listen we are to shake the dust from our feet and move on. You can continue to pray for them. I think the issue is pride - You can’t give God anything, He has everything He needs. He craves our love and an intimate relationship with Him and deserves our worship.
so you agree. God's hands.
yes, I try not to spend too much time on people who don’t actively listen, but that doesn’t mean I can’t pray for them.
I was using the word combative lightly
how could I not want to give back to my Creator? it's natural
Spreading the gospel is what we’re called to do, what we should earnestly want to do as Christians. God wants our love, devotion, and worship. You ignored my warning about pride. We are vessels, people don’t turn to Christ because WE convinced them, they turn to Christ because they believe in the message of the gospel, not anything special about us.
I thought spreading the gospel is making a disciple. I'm just planting seeds. I wish it would have been done for me, I could have had this joy long before now. But let Thy will be done.
Thank you ❤️. I do feel like I'm growing. I know what I'm feeling now will evolve into something I understand better as I continue to pray. It's just weighing so heavy on me. As I was raised to just mind my own business and respect others different views. But now I feel like that's what's got all of us in this situation.
May I suggest a source that I have found to be extremely helpful? Khouse.tv **** The main guy, Chuck Missler, passed away in 2018, I listen to his teachings and have learned so much from him. He addresses this “spirit of antichrist” that you are concerned with. On the website there is a section called Prophecy & End Times, you may find it helpful. Above all else, pray, that’s your heavy artillery.
Thanks I will search for that
I second anything by Chuck Missler. He was an amazing teacher (deep dive bible stuff). He’s on ytube also.
Acts 7:52 Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
You said what most of us are thinking! Well stated! I pray for a Christian revival like never witnessed before.
It's time Christians remember who killed Jesus and why.
Yeah, that would be the Edomite Herod Antipas, the client king to Caesar Augustus, and the Sanhedrin. The twelve apostles were all JEWS as were the first Christians. Paul, a JEW and a former member of the Sanhedrin and present at the stoning of Stephen, the first martyr, was the first apostle to actively start preaching to the Gentiles.
As to the why— the Sanhedrin was the ruling religious sect, the main power at that time since there was no Davidic king sitting on the throne. They did not want to lose what little power they had left. Notice that they did not have the authority to put anyone to death, they had to get permission. Jesus told them that their father was Satan.
I love your post.
If someone is Jewish and please they are one of God's chosen people, that's fine and I guess it does not have any contradictions that I know of.
But a Christian accepting that they are God's chosen people is really a kingdom divided.
A person can become Jewish if they don't commit to the beliefs of the religion. If you are from a Christian background, they will specifically ask you to reject the name of Jesus christ. Thus, someone like Ivanka Trump is considered Jewish, a chosen person because of this.
Her children will automatically be considered Jewish, whether if they follow the principles of islam, atheism, or satanism. These would thus be considered Chosen People.
Yet, Christians would accept this and not consider they are embracing an antichrist belief system
Great points. And it bothers me when I hear and see the government honoring the Jewish beliefs but expecting us to set our aside.
Revelation 5:5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

I'm not sure disbelief that jesus is the messiah is enough for God to punish billions of people. I believe in a malevolent God that wants to forgive
God’s wrath is real. It is not for us. Mainly because God gave a free gift for you to have. His sacrifice for you. Jesus. If a person does not take this gift, then His wrath will be upon you in the end. It’s like if an asteroid was headed towards Earth. God, standing next to you points to it and says “that is my wrath”. Scared you say, “why God, why send your wrath upon us?”..God immediately would say “oh that isn’t for you, because of this hands you a cup to drink from drink from this cup and my wrath can never touch you.” For many, drinking from said cup is a no brainer, for others, they don’t want it. They get to choose. I would ask , why would you NOT drink from that cup? But free will is a thing. And when they don’t accept that free gift God gave, God’s wrath incoming upon them. If someone doesn’t accept Jesus as their personal savior and believe what He says, as in follows Him..then that person will spend an eternity in Hell, because they would’ve rejected God’s gift to spare them eternal death. Scripture is very clear about this.
And the innocent children are saved because they are ignorant but innocent, I believe this is God
Even tho the “age of accountability” doesn’t exist in the Bible, there are verses that relate to it. Isaiah 7:15-16 and Deuteronomy 1:39, suggest a point where a child is old enough to understand and choose between good and evil, no specific age is given. The idea is that children are not held accountable for their sins until they become capable of understanding and making a conscious choice to defy God. We are all born covered in sin from the original sin of Adam, so I’m not sure about the innocent part. But, they haven’t had a chance to sin themselves yet. Of course that changes pretty quickly. Personally I believe in the age of accountability. And that age will vary for each child. Parents best be on top of such after birth. Pastors and the church can help greatly here of the parents are “ignorant” to these matters.
I've known many Muslims and a few jews that are very kind , forgiving and generous and have done nothing to deserve an eternity in he'll. That goes for most people. That's why I don't believe (theoretically)in a God that condemns unilaterally, if that makes sense
It isn’t about what they have done, is about what God has done. He has offered this gift for free. Anyone not willing to accept it, will not get to live in eternity in the presence of the Father. And will spend an eternity in Hell. As mentioned, scripture isn’t shady here, it’s crystal clear. You have been told the truth here today. If you don’t accept that, we’ll, I’m sorry. Your friends have a choice to make. Or they don’t believe what is written. And therefore are against God. Doesn’t matter how they act.
Everything in the Bible is theory, except for the belief that Jesus died for our sins. My God does not leave any good , loving, generous of spirit and kind persons behind. Why would he bother?
Sorry man, you couldn’t be more wrong.
Have you read the Bible? It doesn't matter what you believe God is, believe what God says He is. Jesus came as the sacrificial lamb the first time to offer salvation to all that believe in Him. The second coming His garments are covered in the blood of those that refused His sacrifice.
The Bible is a tool of the catholic church, go talk to the pope
The Holy Bible is the Word of God. The Catholic Church does not use the Holy Bible. They use the Catholic Bible.
Blah blah blah , kjv is about the same
You have to prove it is the Word of God. God even challenges you. It is the only book that foretells the future. Pray that God opens your eyes and don't be bias by what others say---even me!
This world belongs to Satan according to scripture so the Bible is also his to manipulate. God is in my ❤️
Okey dokey then. Have a nice eternity!
Rev.20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [c]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [d]death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Because no one will know the day or hour
It was here the minute Christ arrived on the scene.
