What is this phrase i keep hearing- 'attending church'. Are we not the church? I dont attend my body, i just am. I am the church. You are the church. just be the church.
Interesting tho, according to the article, what is going on with younger women? “Barna Group study shows generational reversal among Gen Z, Millennial men as young women leave churches at higher rates.”
Women, particularly younger/Middle-Aged Women have been generally trending more and more solidly Liberal.
The influx of Men back to churches is resulting in more Churches taking hardline stances whereas previously they were more wishy washy and flexible. Which suited more emotion-focused Liberal minded members who are increasingly overwhelmingly female. Subsequently feel increasingly unwelcome and uncomfortable. Since the message is changing from “Do as thou wilt. Jesus loves you anyway”. To “Jesus may love you and forgive you. But there are still some basic moral standards you need to live your life by.”
Them increasingly growing more liberal would also generally track with the fact that Women are now overall more likely to earn a College Degree. And generally have increasingly higher rates of Academic achievement when compared to boys. Including entering Academia. Ergo they are swallowing more of the propaganda hook, line, and sinker. While Men are increasingly both publicly and privately questioning the status quo.
Mixed emotions on this...
It's good they are finding God, but sad they end up in pussified 401c churches selling cowardice as virtue.
Word.
I have faith they will figure it out and start their own churches or fix the ones they are in.
I sure hope so.
Thank you for the optimism. I needed that today.

I'm pretty sure they have their fill of the woke bullshit, that's why they are joining the church.
I know some of these guys at work, they are very good.
Good point. It'll be interesting to see which path they take. "Prosperity gospel" or Knights Templar 2.0.
God's Plan is in motion, for Israel and America. He has given Erika, His "Esther"
As long as they are returning to God, the journey begins. God will do the rest if they are truly seeking Him.
Amen
One of the reasons why I haven’t returned to church. A lot of them fucking suck.
Orthodox.
Try the OCA. You might find it refreshingly ancient.
He's just making sure he gets it right and that his heart is in the right place. He will be baptized when he's ready.
But are they chipping in when that 2nd collection comes around for poor israel?
Kek.
LoL
Nothing can stop what is coming.
Ascension
May Christ be our guide!

I’m seeing it in my church. OCA is growing fast.
I’ve still yet to find a reason to return to church at 32 after my last attempt last spring going to a nondenominational failed miserably.
