Praise God they are coming home and that the rest will be released soon. I pray for their recovery after what they have been through these last two years as well as for their loved ones.
Those totals come from the Gaza Ministry of Health. None of it is reliable and verified. There are all kinds of numbers floating around out there and none of them match - all put out by Gaza. Hell, Gaza has no clue. How many of those "casualties" were combatants? How many were people that Hamas themselves have tortured and murdered? How many were being used by Hamas as human shields and deliberately put in harm's way? How many in that total were simply just made up out of thin air or double and triple counted?
They are terrorists that decided to attack their neighbor - brutally and without mercy. Even their children are radicalized. The vast majority of Gazans would have joined in on the slaughter of Oct 7 if they could have. Since the IDF's partial withdrawal, Hamas has been busy running hob shod over their own people and murdering them in the streets because they are trying to reassert control. Yeah, it sounds like they are ready to move forward with trying to get along with their neighbors in the area. Not! Israel had completely withdrawn from Gaza in 2005 to give them a chance to govern themselves. Gee, how did that turn out? All the working infrastructure that the Israelis left behind in Gaza was destroyed or dismantled to make weapons.
Thousands of Israelis have been murdered by Hamas and other Islamist terror groups in attacks over the last several decades - and those numbers are verified. So, whatever the hell the number is out of Gaza, it seems that it is more than likely a wash.
What happened on the Gaza border was a major security failure. It was massive and now that the war is hopefully wrapping up, there will be more investigations. Several people within the government have already quietly been removed and arrested not too long after the invasion.
Yes, that border supposedly was secure - at least that is what the government was telling the Israeli public and the world. That was the problem. Israel was too overconfident in their own high tech and defensive abilities, while at the same time, they grossly underestimated Hamas's capabilities. All their attention had been focused on their Northern border and Hezbollah. Israel had been preparing for a Northern invasion for years and basically laughed off any large scale attack from Gaza. Israel's focus on the North was probably the biggest reason that Hezbollah did not join in on the attack as was originally planned. Nasrallah backed out even though Hezbollah was more prepared than Hamas.
Israel dismissed the idea that Hamas could pull something like that attack off and Israel was caught with their pants down. Even when the attack was happening, some very high level people completely dismissed the idea. Their ability to mobilize to that attack was unfortunately left up to citizens in the beginning hours. The security response was a disaster. Many of the people on the border were unarmed. A mistake they will never make again. Many of those kibbutzim were filled with liberal peaceniks who had Palestinians that worked for them. They also never believed it could happen because they were "good" to the Palestinians - those same Palestinians that mapped their defenses and later returned to murder them in their own homes. The country was critically slow to response after bragging how advanced they were. Hamas took advantage of that arrogance.
In addition, Israel Security and Defense shortly prior to Oct 7 had made some major changes on how they gathered critical security intelligence that was built with an overreliance on high tech. Rather than using a variety of intelligence sources in addition to actual boots on the ground, as they had done for years, the system was stream lined and simplified with a heavy reliance on tech. It was supposed to almost operate itself. The US had been involved in that change under Biden - something the US has been trying to keep under wraps because the Biden administration was trying to sell us the same overinflated digitally driven security system on our own borders. Who needs actual manpower on the ground to protect borders? Israel was so overconfident in that new system that when warnings started coming in about an attack, they were dismissed and ignored as being impossible. That hubris was disasterous.
As I stated, it was a massive ego driven security failure and hopefully heads are not finished rolling over this. The Israeli public is demanding accountability. We can relate to that. I will also have to admit that Israel has just as much a problem with the DS actors and traitors as we do here in the US. No doubt there were others within government that had another agendas to be driven and saw the gap in security and exploited it for their own purposes. The fact that the attack was likened to 9/11 was very telling.
My information does not rely on what the Israeli government tries to put out there. But, from those that were on the ground and others within the Israeli defense security apparatus who had been trying to raise the alarm long before this tragedy even took place. Their voices are being silenced. As always, it is the regular citizens that have to pay the price for what their governments do. We shall see if there will be any accountability going forward. But like here in the US, I am not holding my breath.
Non of the number of causalities are verified, and no one knows anything, but we are just supposed to trust the videos of people being "yeah, trust us bro, everyone is radicalized, so you should wipe us all out if you ever try", like??? Do you not see you have been propagandized on the other side too?
It is hard to believe accounts that are unverifiable and where there is no consistency in the totals. Those numbers change depending on who is giving them. The Palestinians have been grossly overinflating their totals for years. Their fakery has also been well documented for anyone bothering to take the time to actually look at it. Israeli terror victims on the other hand, are very well documented by several sources. But, those deaths don't seem to matter. No one is taking to the streets in their defense.
I have personally met many Palestinians here in the US. I have never met one that didn't hate the Israelis and Jews with a passion - some even enough to kill. That is no joke. Years ago I thought the hatred was all propaganda. I have come to know different. It is real and the vast numbers of Palestinians fall into that camp. They themselves have been propagandized by their leaders and others who have agendas.
The fact that the mainstream media apparatus is pumping out the "poor Palestinian's" narrative is also telling. It is akin to our mainstream media constantly beating the "poor immigrants" narrative drum here at home - regardless of how much chaos and criminality they bring with them. If you don't happen to have the same opinion because you can see with your own eyes things are not as they are being portrayed, and you want those people out of our country, does that mean you are propagandized to the other side? How is that any different?
So no, I am not propagandized on the other side. I don't take anyone's word for what happens. I want to see the evidence and read it for myself. Therefore, my opinions are based upon my own research at looking at what evidence is available. I don't believe any government mouthpiece - not even here in the US.
The main issue is the fact that Hamas shed their uniforms and adopt civilian clothing and against the Geneva convention and in attempt to blur the lines. Trump said today that 58,000 were Hamas combatants, and if that's the case it's the most precise war in history. I find that number hard to believe but I thought it was around 40,000 combatants.
Praise God they are coming home and that the rest will be released soon. I pray for their recovery after what they have been through these last two years as well as for their loved ones.
Amen! 🙌
~67,000 Palestinians have been killed since Oct 7th. We can't really pray for their recovery can we?

How many hours did it take Israel to respond? Isn't this the most secure border int he world? Something doesn't add up here.
So you don't believe the Gaza Ministry of Health but you do believe the IDF and Israel? OK got it!
