Mind you, There are two trends:
The rate of unsealing and the rate of new cases that need sealing.
What we want to see is an upward tick in unsealing, but we don't mind if more cases are opened for new findings. It's a funny old thing.
Furthermore, do we watch the cutoff, for a change in trends, during the 'change of guard' on Nov 4, 2024? Possibly not, given Trump's shadow presidency.
Yes, I have assembled a spreadsheet to track the indictment status. Important metric to keep an eye on!
After several years of pondering Trumps official status after the 2020 "loss", I believe that legally, he was a president in exile (at Mar-a-lago) and carefully handed over the control via "Continuation of Government".
The military inserted Biden the actor while the bad guy perps were still confused as to who was really pulling all the strings from the top.
Don't worry about what others are doing, each analysis varies. If you are working in excel or google sheets, there should be a suggestion for a chart that could be plotted given the stats you have in the spreadsheet. Try for something that will show a trend. IF you find something interesting in the lines, an acceleration of some sort, we would all love to see it.
It takes some effort to locate which ones were unsealed since you have to search through the districts.
I don't have a pacer account so it's harder to locate individual cases that have been unsealed. But Grok pointed me to CourtListener.com and after searching for "Unsealed Indictment" I got these results.
Over 600,000 sealed federal indictments (each one potentially having multiple defendants) that was never more than a few thousand before Trump's first term tells us a lot.
A giant RICO case is being built. Like the one Rudy Giuliani used to take down the mob.
It tells us Trump isn't just another politician and this isn't your average corrupt administration.
It tells us what draining the swamp is going to look like.

These indictments will probably help kick off America's golden age
Nearly 1% of them in one month.

If you turn the stats on the spreadsheet into a graph, there maybe something interesting there, in terms of trends?
I'll certainly try plotting it. Wish I could better match it to the charts on the Bad-boys site.

These numbers always blow me away. Theres so many sealed indictments that its one of those surreal, difficult to believe things.
Its surreal and will remain so until they really get going with the unsealing
What was the nature of those that were un-sealed?

Interesting, there seems to be a definite 'heartland' that does not seem as affected by the rot.
Nevada as well, surprisingly.
Thank you. I forgot to mention that it doesn't behave well on phones.

Dang, you're right. π
They seem to drop off without any sign of leaving. Pray they are.all doing well and happy with life.
Thank you Fren for continuing to dig on this and for including meβοΈππΈ
Ok neat.
Until anything gets unsealed, none of this really matters
Just numbers on a chalkboard. Until the world sees them, it's meaningless...
That's a fucking dumb take.

how many more weeks? At some point, if nothing happens, what will you say then?
There is plenty happening:
You missed this from several months ago. Tren de Aragua members arrested after indictments were unsealed.
Also, Sean Diddler Combs was indicted a few weeks after another batch were unsealed in September 2024. He appeared in court on Sept 17th 2024
