Democrats WANT it to cause the economy to falter so they can blame Trump. With their control of the media, Democrats have been able to convince almost half the population that the shutdown is "the Republican's fault".

I got a notice today that my plan went up 65%, from $800 a month to $1350 for nothing different at all. I run my own small business so I can't get insurance any other way.
