Pentagon Reporters From Every Major (Fake News) Media Organization Lose Their Press Badges After They Refuse to Sign Hegseth's S...
Pentagon reporters turned in their badges after they refused to sign Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s new security rule.
So they gave up their access rather then pledge to be honest. 🙄 Wow.
They tell us who they are...
Good, they can be replaced. Do you think any major news network will not want their reporters at the Pentagon?
Exactly Rich!
Maybe some of OUR people can fill the vacancies...
Yanno...non-clowns with Christian names.
Imagine that.

This is winning
🤣🤣🤣
Pointless having journalists there at all if everything they are allowed to publish has first to be signed off by the pentagon's press office. Anything embarrassing for the DoW will just be refused permission. I'm not surprised that they threw in the towel.
I actually think this is counter productive - journalists are supposed to be independent uncontrolled sources of truth. Of course they brought this on themselves with years of not being independent and merely parrotting deep state talking points.
Are they reporters, or spies?
A few summary points, care of Grok (please verify independently):
Formal Title: "News Media Physical Security Restrictions on the Pentagon Reservation"
Effective: as of May 23, 2025
Journalists must affirm that all DoW information—even if unclassified—must be "approved for public release by an appropriate authorizing official" before it can be shared or reported. This includes prohibiting the "solicitation" of unauthorized information from DoW personnel, such as through tips, interviews, or public calls for leaks. Violators can be deemed a "security or safety risk," leading to credential revocation.
Reporters are barred from unescorted access to most of the building, including all areas on the 5th, 4th, 3rd floors, basement, and mezzanine (covering corridors and rings).
On the 2nd floor (traditional press workspace), access is limited to specific corridors (e.g., Rings A–E between Corridors 1, 9, and 10) without an escort; all other areas require DoW personnel accompaniment.
"Press no longer roams free": Reporters must wear visible badges identifying them as media at all times and cannot wander hallways or sensitive zones independently.
Explicit ban on actions that "disrupt Pentagon operations" or encourage DoW employees to disclose non-public information (classified or controlled unclassified). This includes advertising for tips or pressuring sources, which the DoW equates to "soliciting criminal acts." Audio recording of off-camera interviews is allowed only if monitored by DoW public affairs staff.
Comments:
Well, I don't know that its a pledge to 'be honest'. It's a pledge to honor the restrictions that the DOW has now put in place.
Well, no. Almost ALL major 'News' networks (aka Corporate and D. State-run organs) have refused to sign on. It's not the individual reporters as much as it is the institutions they are working for. Even if those that refuse to sign on are replaced, the core issue is that the institutions themselves are refusing to abide by these restrictions.
FI: Personally, this feels like a no brainer. I mean, sheesh, as if military information should be openly disclosed or available to the press without oversight or control. The system up until now would have allowed any number of foreign and domestic spies and malefactors to infiltrate, leak, surveil etc.
What I'm surprised by is the refusal to sign by certain otherwise (I usually assumed) are actual legitimate media organizations, like the Washington Times (anti-CCP, conservative voice) and Newsmax, the Federalist.
My biased comment: This is basically all I'm hearing from the non-signing organizations:
Good. The fake news is being reigned in. It's time.
😲Genius!! Now that’s how you eliminate the enemy! Let them choose!
