A deadline without enforcement is not a deadline.
Do any of the states have laws that prevent counting after a deadline?
Wouldn't the Supreme Court just deny the case and leave the 5th Circuit Court's ruling in place? Their ruling seems the likely outcome from the SC unless they want to make the ruling more narrow or wide.

I highly doubt they will hear this as it will open a huge can of worms and they do not have the balls to do it. Hope I'm wrong though!
