Unions are meant to empower the workers against their employer. In the case of government workers, WE ARE THE EMPLOYER THEY ARE ORGANIZING AGAINST. These unions should not exist.

There should be full back pay for federal employees that are working everyday. That should not even be questioned. The people that are not working is a completely different story

The real reason is if fed workers aren't getting paid. Means no union dues being collected from union payroll! This is the union reps and bosses only source of "legal" cash flow!

Agree. From the past, before I retired, every shutdown they paid us afterwards. And, frankly, I was ashamed as I was one of the non-essential employees who sat at home, of course worried about pay, but then to get paid when I didn’t work. It just didn’t seem right to me.
The USA seems to be running just fine without them. Now thew section 8 & EBTisha crowds need to be controlled from looting when they dont get their handout. Hopefully, the NG is in place for this.
Louisiana has already started moving money to cover EBT for Nov at least. I've read several other states are doing the same. If they don't get anything, they need to ask why THEIR STATE didn't work something out too.
