His grandmother was said to be more Catholic than the Kennedy's themselves! He was raised devout Catholic even if they didn't always follow their religion...
Learning moment: Confirmation is the Catholic version of born again. Catholics are Christians. Yes, they are looked down upon by Protestants who rejected books from the first bible to suit their liking. But, Yes, they do read and are taught the Bible, a few additional books, but they do follow the word.
I would highly recommend you quit splitting hairs over who is most Christian. If Christians don’t ban together, our women will be wearing burqas and many of our men will be dead.
Thank you for this. It's amazing how many Protestants feel that Catholics are not Christian.
Christians believe in the Holy Trinity and the Roman Catholics were the first Christian religion to form from the early Christians. Protestants are a branch of Catholicism whether they like it or not. As all Christians are a branch of the Jewish faith as well.
Christianity is not a branch of Judaism. Christian's core tenant is that Jesus is the Son of God and Christ Messiah, something Jews regard as heresy. Sure, both have Abrahamic roots, just as Islam does, but that's where the similarities end. Christ's new covenant overrode Moses' old covenant and after that, established an entirely separate religion.
So what is the Old Testament to you? All Christian bibles contain one. It is just as much a part of Christianity as the New Testament. Yet it is our history as much as the Jews.
Jesus was a Jew His apostles were all Jews. Read ACTS to see they converted many of the Jews to Christianity before they converted the Gentiles.
In ACTS Peter recognized that all people on earth were God’s people and could become Christians
I often wonder if the Christian’s of this world are now God’s Chosen people.
I believe there were quit a few Spirit filled Christians who took the JAB, so to answer you're question....
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
PLENTY of people I see on here who are closer to God than most church going Christians let me tell you.
I went to Catholic school for two years before my parents put me in public school. However, I was never baptized & my parents were not practicing Catholics. I remember learning all the things the Catholic kids learned - our class would walk around the church stopping at each station of the cross. As I recall they were very intense about their love for Jesus.
I agree, you must believe in the correct Jesus, and yes Catholics do teach the correct Jesus, in my opinion. Are you implying however a works doctrine vs a grace doctrine? Just wondering. I am not familiar with the Catholic view on that doctrine.
Catholics are told that they are born again when they are baptized with water as a child. Even though the Bible says you must be born of the Holy Spirit. There is also the Sacrament of Confirmation (teen years) which is confirming their baptismal vows that were said for them by their Godparents. Most Catholics don’t read the Bible. They rely on Priests to teach them. They must go deeper. I am a born again Catholic. I will never not be Catholic. I do think the Church needs to do better in this area.
I am with you. As a young adult I went searching. As a Catholic out of my predominantly Catholic area, I realized how hated Catholics are by Protestants. Could so many be wrong. I took a world religions class to find out exactly what others believed. EYE OPENER! So I pulled my Catholic bible back out and started reading.
2 of my main sticking points I have been told time and time again - I can’t get to heaven through works. Yet, I’ve read we will be judged on our works.
And there is no purgatory? My question is if there is no escape from hell, where does our spirit go until heaven? Where does it “sleep?” I know I don’t have all the answers because I have never died that I know of. How can they be so sure?
I understand there's certain religions/people out there that tell people they aren't Christian.
We don't know the hearts/souls/minds of those who belong & believe.
I'm constantly hearing that that certain religions don't believe in Jesus when their very name is Jesus --center, to the core of their beliefs.
I wouldn't judge !
I believe in the last days many will be deceived, I hope to be listed among those who believe in the Savior, and his sacrificing atonement for all mankind!
I don't want to deny anyone else who also has love for the Savior.
True some churches use the name of Jesus to claim being a christian denomination, yet they define Him differently than fundamental biblical christianity. An example would be defining Jesus as simply a man, and deny he is God in human flesh. They may consider Him a created being. They simply have a different gospel, and a different Jesus. They have been led astray.
Um, the KKK was made up of mostly Protestant “Christians” in the New Orleans area, and they hung Irish Catholic Christians along with blacks. How many Catholics do you actually “see” or did you just learn about Catholics from Protestants?
Catholic is Christian. We are followers of Jesus Christ. Right now the pope is dubious and the previous pope as well. Like all entities all religions are facing the devil in their midsts. Man separates man and dictates policy but Our Lord Jesus Christ is everything. Why do you think religious sects exist and why do they like to pretend they have all the answers?. Read the Bible get the Word directly. Watch Julie Green Ministries on Rumble for solid Bible based information. Remember God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. God gave the people prophets to steer them back to Him. To share the gospel and show us His love.
Sorry but they werent. The first Christians were born again on pentecoste the day the Christian church, the age of grace and the body of Christ was established. Read the book of Acts chapter 2 and following. Peter and paul departed company and paul ended up eventually in Rome. Peter is never shown going to Rome anywhere in the bible. Likeley he went to babylon. The judeans were the first to convert to Christians and they were never called catholic, or protestant, or by any other name we have in modern history.
Yes, thank you. I miss spoke on that. I appreciate the information and education. I was thinking how other Christian religions broke from the Catholic Church. You say Peter was never shown going to Rome but LIKELY went to Babylon. Was he ever shown going to Babylon? The whole region was controlled by the Roman Empire so I don’t know if there’s a significance in going to Rome or not. I thank you for this, you’ve opened my eyes. I have read Acts but will reread as you probably know every time you read the Bible it’s as if you’re reading it for the first time. Something new always stands out, at least it does for me. Thank you again. I needed this. This was Gods plan as I have had questions.
God bless 🙏🏼
When you put it that way—“heavy is the head that wears the crown”! I’d be on my knees praying too. It’s a big weight knowing the damage the vaxxes can do and that people believe in them still means you’ll be hated and decided while doing the right thing.
If Muslims can pray in the streets of Dearborn and Minneapolis and now NYC, I think RFK can say his rosary quietly and unobtrusively and faithfully. Peter Jesus’ disciple began the Catholic Church- can’t get much closer to God than that. I think all religion has been infiltrated.
I remember listening to RFK talk after he joined President Trump, where he noted that he prays a specific amount of time each day. It must be hard to keep that commitment up in this very busy work. There is probably a lot of time where they hurry up and wait. Successful people optimize their time.
Peter did not start the Catholic church. You have been deceived to believe he was the first pope. The Bible says, upon this rock, meaning the Lord Jesus , I will build my church. Jesus is the foundation, the cornerstone of the true Christian faith. Christian literally means follower of Jesus. Peter was a disciple and follower of Jesus.
Also peters name is petra in the greek and means a little pebble. Jesus said I am the Rock (petros =big rock or stone) peter, you are a little pebble. The church is definately built on Christ who is the head. It isnt the catholic church Christ built but Jesus is still building the Church of God. All of this is clearly revealed in the Gods Word.
One of the most important distinctions between "fundamental" Christianity and Catholicism is that Catholics did not fall for DISPENSATIONISM. Did not embrace the SCOFIELD bible.
They embrace plenty of other unbiblical beliefs. Mary worship, indulgences, calling men Father, forbidding clergy to marry and much more. I made my great escape 40 years ago. Catholicism started the entire nicene creed confusion.
The Rosary is a comfort for Catholics, we were taught it from an early age.No, we do not think of it as magic, think of it more as a centering tool to ground us in our Faith, a reminder. His father was shot dead and as he lay there dying, there is a famous picture of a restaurant worker putting the rosary in his hands. We recite the Lords Prayer, and repeat the Hail Mary from the bible. The words the angel Gabriel spoke to the young woman who would bear and birth God in Christ. We do not ask for prayer breaks like the Muslims do, but keep it close to ground us in Faith, especially when we are surrounded by chaos or depression or pain. It reminds us to pray. It has little to do with the Vatican, it is a personal connection to prayer life. I am sorry that some find it so disturbing or anti Christian. It is not.
His Uncle and Father as well as possibly his cousin were all assassinated. I think id be asking for Gods protection. He wont get it from the rosary but he will get it because we believers are praying for him and God hears us. He is taking on big pharma i.e. the rothchilds..this interrupts a depopulation tool. Maybe the real truth we find out is there is only 2 billion of us left on the planet. That they had almost succeeded in getting to 500 million people. Would thst be the shit, all while brainwashing us to believe there are 8 billion. Maybe thats why entire towns across america are dead. Neighborhoods abandoned with all the stuff left in the houses. Not even pictures were taken oe personal stuff. Cars left lmao. Nobody questions any of it. Building warehouses they say, and they are, but why so many in the middle nowhere illinois? Nebraska, iowa, indiana even. Its all documented and its weird as n hell.
Catholics hold rosaries, no big deal now that religion is returning to the public eye as our Savior Jesus Christ is doing right now and more and more everyday moving forward.
The answer you gave is most certainly the correct one. The weight of his mission lays heavy upon him, and he is seeking strength and guidance in the way that he has been taught. If you believe Jesus is the way of salvation and accept him as your Savior, it doesn't matter what title you hold. Salvation by faith through God's grace and nothing more, nothing less. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
His grandmother was said to be more Catholic than the Kennedy's themselves! He was raised devout Catholic even if they didn't always follow their religion...
I believe he's sincere!
So do I.
Catholicism is a Christian religion.
As in any christian religion, not all catholics are christian is the sense of being born again and filled with the holy spirit.
Learning moment: Confirmation is the Catholic version of born again. Catholics are Christians. Yes, they are looked down upon by Protestants who rejected books from the first bible to suit their liking. But, Yes, they do read and are taught the Bible, a few additional books, but they do follow the word.

Not on us to judge another mans servant, ours is to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace and God looks on the heart not on the flesh.
AMEN

Ok rabbi. What ever you say.
You spelled TROLL wrong.
(GangStalked)
As a Baptist (Protestant) Christian, I am not aware of this persecution in our current day. Catholics are our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
surprised you didn't know🤔
since Q is full of Kennedy references...
the Kennedy's are a Very well known Irish Catholic family.

Read collossians 1:27. This is why you are called Christian (Christ in).
Yes!
Catholics were the very first Christians.

Got your history wrong there. If you read your Bible, it says the followers of Jesus were first called Christians in Antiock. They were not Catholics.
Thank you. I did say that wrong. Catholicism was the first Christian religion.
Apostle Peter was the first Pope. The papacy is referred to as the Chair of Peter. https://popehistory.com/popes/pope-st-peter/
Yes. My mistake. Thank you
