The UK is and has been fucked for a while now. They needed to stand up but they don't. I don't count Ireland as part of the UK and they're at least waking up and starting to do something about it but the UK is fucked. They just can't get their shit together.

Brits are educated to be ashamed, politically correct, to have any sense of patriotism beaten out of them, etc. I grew up in a working class area, and they were all hopelessly socialist.
I was fortunate. I went to one of the oldest high schools in the country, they had a lot of accomplishments and a lot of accomplished alumni to be proud of. I had a few veterans as teachers, and they all went against the political correctness.
My fear isn't that the country will fall. My fear is what comes when the straw finally breaks the camels back. I think the blow back will be a lot less controlled than it looks like it will be in the US.

I live in the SE of England and barring a miracle we are fugged. The population has turned into smartphone text zombies, especially the youngsters. Try to talk to them about any reality outside of the Plato's cave they inhabit is next to impossible.

There was the Archbish of Canterbury, the Papal Nuncio, The Head Rabbi, some Muslim Leader and a Buddhist Priest. Nobody saw what he did but the speeches were broadcast by loudspeaker.
