Hey everyone, I've been in complete distraught for two weeks now since our good little cat Lulu went missing. She is an indoor/outdoor cat but she always, always, always stays close by and loves food and snuggles more than anything. She couldn't go a single day without needing constant attention, so her disappearing on her own is highly unlikely.
She's incredibly friendly with strangers so we suspect someone mistook her for a friendly stray and scooped her up to take home. This has happened once before, we were able to find her just a few days later, but now this is the longest she's ever been gone. We're extra worried because another neighborhood cat went missing a few months ago and he would stop by almost daily to say hello. There's also, literally, a coven of witches that lives nearby and who knows what they might be doing to animals.
I've posted to several online groups about her disappearance and I'll be putting up posters in our town and surrounding towns this weekend. But we desperately need prayers for the safety of our little cat, and for her safe return. Please offer up any prayers, anything is appreciated! We just want our Lulu back home soon.

Prayers for your cat I hope she comes home safe. I have a cat that is outside all day long he hates staying inside. He does come in for the night just before dark and I check on him every couple hours all day.
My parents have a cat like that too. He loves being out, even in the dead of winter, but loves to come inside to snuggle up at night. Thanks for the prayers 🙏

St. Francis, patron of animals, please intercede for this cat, Lulu, this frightened creature of God’s creation, and help her find her way back safely home and be healed of any illness or injury, in Jesus' name, Amen.
St. Anthony, who also loved animals, and who helps us so often to find lost things, help Lulu to remember she has a home and to be returned safely to it. Help her to find her trust of the people who want to do her good and not harm. Thank you for your loving care, St. Anthony, the Wonder-Worker who held the infant Jesus in your arms. Please whisper this prayer to Him for me and ask Him to bless us all with His love. Amen.

Yes I have seen put a blanket with your scent on it with food and the litter box.
She's not likely to have wandered off by herself, I truly do think she was taken by someone, so she's probably being kept inside and not able to come back on her own. 😥

One time I lost my cat at the store a mile down the road, escaped as I was getting back in the car. I was distraught, I pee'd in a bucket for 3 days and sprayed a trail of pee from the store to my house (suggested by a pet tracker). Looked every where walked up and down the roads trying to find him, I would pray pleading for God to bring him home. It wasn't until I spoke God's words back to him saying you know every hair on my head and does not a bird fall from the sky that you don't know about, I believe you are bringing him back to me and I truly believed it and in my mind I could picture him on his way home. He went missing 11/22 and was missing until March 13th, almost 3 1/2 months, but when I changed my thinking the phone started ringing with leads, long story of my adventures responding to leads 😂 but eventually one of the calls was him. The flyers were the key, praying for you and BELIEVE!
This gives me hope! She's a very street-wise cat, so I hope she's doing all right if she's on her own. And if someone took her in I hope they're taking proper care of her.

I'm also hoping that she was just innocently taken in by someone who thought she was a friendly stray, and nothing nefarious has occurred (I'm worried the local witches may have done something).

Get those posters up everywhere...street signs, grocery stores, local businesses and if you have a Ring camera or know someone who does have them post her picture on Ring Neighbors. It's a tab on the Ring App..it can be a great resource! 🙏🤍
I just watched a story on our local news about a kitty cat "Bootsy" missing for 1 year after the Helene Hurricane and she just showed up on their doorstep. So don't give up hope. Prayers sent for Lulu to find her way safely back to you.
I've seen stories like that too, and I'm trying to focus on things like that, rather than sad instances where they find the cat lying on the road. Thanks for the prayers 🙏
