Countries enforcing DEI policies will now be at risk of the Trump Administration deeming them as human rights abusers, which upends the status quo when it comes to diplomatic relations.
This is perfect! Heβs setting the standard world wide.
There is no way for a government to enforce Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies without also discriminating against certain groups of people. DEI, by its very nature, is anti-merit, anti-success and pro-privilege. Of course, the groups that are most commonly discriminated against under DEI quotas are mostly white, male and straight. The assumption being that white dudes are widely considered "fair game" by the rest of society.
Now shut down the schools in America because they are going full-steam ahead on their DEI agendas, regardless of paperwork and news headlines.
Words without actions are meaningless.
Parents should gather resources and sue the school they are in. One judgement is probably what it would take. Then you could sue others for human rights violations.
About time. I'm tired of being discriminated against. I want my kids to have equal opportunity to get a job, contract, loan (God forbid), or business from people as a business owner.
I want them to not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
DEI just creates affirmative action for a wide berth of people who have not been discriminated against or faced any sort of comparable adversity to justify it. It punishes people (e.g. asians) who never benefitted from any of sort of privilege. DEI it and of itself (also AA) sets up an arrogant assertion of privilege or systemic racism by the "other" that is unproven and cannot be proven in a court of law nor are there laws that can be represented in any way as "systemic racism". DEI makes an assumption it cannot prove to justify special treatment towards certain groups -- this motivation stems moreso from insecurity and mediocrity than anything else. Such policy is also self-validating as again it makes assumptions of discrimination it cannot prove in any way, shape, or form.
Example: there are too many white people at this company/profession!
Answer: it's statistics/probability and/or demographics, not systemic racism -- white people are literally ~60-70% of the US population.
Impossible to get a job when the first question are whats your race, sexual preference & do you have a mental disability. Nevermind my 28 years experience & four industry certifications.

It's only true
I'm so happy to see this. The amount of DEI "trainings" and other bullshit over the years that I've had to sit through was terrible.
Please start with Canada.
And many have had this exact thing stated to them verbatim.
And just like that a new sheriff is in town laying it down.
Great.

About time! DEI needs to die!
This is a Big Win!!!
