Exactly otherwise she'd likely have been in the inauguration day pardons. People are still needing to be reminded of how this works.

If the governor used the election cheat to get into office, and she was convicted for trying to audit the election to detect the cheat, he would have to admit to severe crimes to pardon her, and as she’s imprisoned, it seems likely that he wishes to cover those crimes up.
As the election would be riggable in Colorado, there is no republican form of government in the state. The president, using the authority of the federal government, can step in and ensure that there is a federal form of government, but the people, both of the state and country, would need to want that to happen.
So, if that analysis is correct, here we are?
Federal Crimes may have occurred but she was "convicted" and sentenced on State charges.
But If there were a Federal case in process she could be gotten out as a material witness in Federal custody I believe.
The feds should charge her and put her in a nice jail.......
If they take custody they can send her home or a safe house with protection in either. No bars required.

The first road to be taken should be. It was a federal election, thus the purview of the federal government. Tina was not charged with crimes that affect the states right to conduct elections in a lawful manner. Her charges stem from post-election actions in a federal election.

Why can't the Federal Government override the State? After all their is a Federal crime that is in a state of being unraveled, its called election rigging. Does a key whitness need to be properly protected? Is their precidence for this, what are the options?
