A few generations from now will look at our medical practices the way we look at blood letting and the application of leaches.
Ironically, there's a good chance that the mockery of bloodletting was injected so strongly into popular media because it actually works. Both as a form of self-medicating that pharma can't profit from, and a means of removing things from your body that the government put there for a reason.
Also, it's worth noting that Gary Brecka - the guy who reversed Dana White's bad health - has some bloodletting in his process, though he doesn't call it that. He just draws some blood like a blood bank nurse would, but skips the banking part.
There are a whole lot of megalithic lies in this world that the majority of us were programmed to view and recite as absolute unquestionable fact.

It was the slow boil that killed the frogs. They introduced it slowly overtime. Initially people refused and rejected the need for vaccines but overtime they were able to convince nervous parents that their children would survive childhood if…. It all comes down to sales 101– put fear, uncertainty and doubt into the minds of your potential customers and then offer them a solution.
