They are using princples discovered by the likes of Tesla and Einstein. The physics was always there (the US govt figured it out while doing thermo-nuc tests) but the material science was not.
They also needed to figure out how to charge us for it, because fusion energy based systems will get rid of the need for oil and everything else.
TAE is one of two private companies that are moving forward with the correct model. (The other is Helion). US Mil already has it though, through Lockheed.
TAE is also the one using Boron and not Helium3 (which is available on the moon) or Lithium (which is too highly reactive, so only MIL can use).
If the US wants to lead this race, they need to get it out ASAP. Adversaries are catching up.
We would still need oil for a lot of things and my economic Law of Good Enough would prove out in many cases. But I was thinking cargo ships, military ships, and a real cool Ion Drive for a space ship. Besides producing electricity. Let’s see: Fusion, cure for cancer, cure for drug resistant bacteria, AI, Tariffs, a booming economy, the golden dome, legitimate elections, massive deportations, bad guys in prison, no federal taxes, no property taxes. The Golden Age. I could get used to it.
Yea definitely want all of that - but also looking forward to a Star Trek-like replicator (basically, 3D printer but with atoms)!
Then I can just have a coffee appear whenever I need it :P
Oh, and we wouldn't have to work, like the energy slaves we are currently. I love the work that I do (research), so I could keep doing that but it would be a different feeling every morning for sure.
Sorry, its not workable. See the first video on this article, it starts off by saying its a genuis move but at the end it says there are insumountable difficulties.
You're in good company - I hear this negative sentiment all of the time.
Unfortunately, people have been taught incorrectly about the nature of our universe, so they miss (or disregard) the most important thing when it comes to fusion - zero point energy. Fusion can easily reach over-unity if it can tap into that, which TAE has figured out through their tests (although, they may have had assistance from our DoE Q-Clearance friends - who knows!).
TAE tech is following in the research steps of people like Friedwardt Winterberg, Hal Puthoff, Eric W. Davis, and Sonny White. As I said, all of the physics has been documented for decades but no private company has been able to build it until now (or allowed to...)
The US MIL has been using fusion for decades, and people have seen it without realizing. The whole UFO hysteria was created as a cover-up for it. The vast majority of UFO stories are made up horseshit (aliens are fake and gay) - except there are a couple like the Phoenix Lights that were real events. People did see those lights in the sky, but they were plasma balls created via fusion reactors. People were imagining them in the shape of a craft because the human brain does funny things in low light.
The Hessdalen lights seem quite natural, they have been there for decades.
As for being taught incorrectly, who is the teacher? The only one I follow is Bob Greener, any thoughts about him?
Oh, it works, you can believe that.

Zero point energy
AI labor robots
Replicators (food and materials)
Med beds (or some all purpose healing technology of the like)
There’s humanity’s Ascension right there
Free energy would (will) be the foundation of the golden age.
I’m not surprised that DJT is leading the charge. Fits PERFECTLY.
Not free, but if the DEC, direct energy conversion, efficiency is high enough, then it will be cheap.
Yep, sounds about right.
If one were smart, one might invest in a technology like this to make it free/profitable? Maybe?

Trump's obstacles to becoming President were insurmountable, twice, according to conventional wisdom.
25 years ago no American fought it was possible to start a new car company without being squashed by the Big Three.
With respects to the President, this is physysics, not business

Aliens are real bro. I was abducted and I'm not fake or gay or lying.
