"Why? So when the time comes, the public are not driven into a frenzy by the Dems/MSM, who are going to claim that Trump is a military dictator violating the Constitution.
Trump is showing the People that what he is doing is by the book and 100% legal."
If he had used the military first, people would have cried that he could have used the unarmed NG. So he used the unarmed NG to show that in some cases he has to use the military. For those who will see he tried a less confrotational solution, but is now prohibited by the Supreme Court, they will understand, & might actually support him. For the never trumpers, they will complain he needs to be impeached.
PDJT should read this in public followed by, “I am hearby ordering the deployment of the US Military to any State or City that refuses to enforce its laws and to protect it Citizens.”
Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!
Declared War or Genuine National Emergency (via Communications Act of 1934, Section 706 / 47 U.S.C. § 606)
During a proclaimed war or national emergency (as defined by the president), the Communications Act grants the president broad authority over "wire or radio communications."
This includes powers to:
Prioritize government/defense communications.
Suspend or amend FCC rules.
Take over, use, or close communication facilities/stations.
Authorize government control of radio, wire, broadcast, or other electromagnetic-emitting devices.
Historical context: During World War II and other crises, similar powers were used (e.g., FDR considered seizing broadcast networks). The provision remains on the books and is vaguely worded—"war," "threat of war," "public peril," "disaster," or "other national emergency" are not strictly defined.
In practice: This could theoretically allow shutting down or commandeering broadcasters/TV/radio in a true existential crisis (e.g., invasion or massive cyberattack). Modern attempts to use it for political reasons (e.g., revoking licenses of "unfair" outlets) would violate the First Amendment and Communications Act prohibitions on content-based censorship. Courts would almost certainly block it absent a clear, imminent national security threat.

Have the public heard him yet?
Yes, except 18% as that is the approval rating of the Democrats.
I still think that number is a stretch!
Polls are fake and gay
I've never been lolled before... I don't know any friends who have either
Just greasing the skids a bit!

BY favoring illegals with tax dollars, at the expense of working citizens, that alone allows this Act. There are other justifications, as well.

Hmmm, "...the militia or the armed forces..."
Well now, that's interesting!
The militia are us. . .
I'm gonna need those military issued weapons.
Oh yes, I quite know that. That's why I found it interesting.
He in some way tells us many moves.
Here's a good thread with a breakdown of Alito's dissent...
