To everyone who just really wants to hate all things “Netanyahu” and “Israel”, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that Netanyahu is ignorant of the prevalence of the contexts and emotions this statement evokes.
It is designed to evoke them, and that evocation is not good for someone’s position within a targeted zone that cannot typically be attacked.
This statement is about as proof as you can get that Netanyahu is either flipped, leveraged, strings cut, a replacement actor, or was always working with the WH.
It also likely means that whatever that position is, it cannot be defended if the troops are alerted because this statement is absolutely putting a giant neon arrow pointing straight at it.
