I have been sick for three weeks - Diarrhea for a week, fever for 5 days (99 - 101.9), and now nasal drainage and now a wheezing cough with sinus issues. I have taken: CLO2 for three days 3drops every hour while awake, Ivermectin (a dose based on my body weight every three days - horse paste).
*** what new thing can I try?
Information about me: 1) Patriot teacher who teaches good history and independent thinking. I have at least 10% of parents poisoning their children with flu and covid crap (even though I try to shed doubt on the oraxtice. 2) My wife had open heart surgery with an unforeseen complication- she almost died from loss of blood. Over a 12 hour surgery she received 9 liters of blood. According to Grok she has a 90+ percent chance of having at least one person who donated had received Covid vax. 3) I am completely unvaxed, when my schools district said vax or your job, I said I won't do it. If you fire me I will sue. 4) I am in my 50s and weigh 330 lbs, down from 390 two years ago when I stopped eating all flour and processed foods. 4) My labs are so good they reran them thinking the lab must have made a mistake l.
Have you tried fasting? Even just 3 days can do amazing things. Seek the Lord and He will show you.
Yea, I agree that fasting can do remarkable things to the body. The only down side is the first pangs of hunger. Once you can get through them then your body will forget about the pangs and begin running normally. Once the pangs begin, just concentrate on not giving in to the urge to eat. Tell your mind that you have 330 lbs of energy and you will be fine for three days. You will not starve to death.
Bonus tip, go on carnivore for a week. Strict meat diet with no cheating. The weight will drop, probably in your case at least ten pounds.
Look into the future and ask yourself what your ideal weight would be. If you are a large man by nature, 6' 5", then you probably won't get down to 180 but might have to settle for 230 or so.
I am 6 foot, and have been eating one meal a day for the last few months. I am mainly meat, eggs, and cheese, with a small helping of salsa in my eggs 1 - 2 days a week. I don't know how thin I will get, my family runs heavy (Bro is 6,6 weighs about 650 lbs. Sister is 6,2 weighs about 430 lbs - I am the shortest at 6,0 - mom smoked with me while pregnant).
Remember that families share eating habits and environment, not just genes. If your grandparents and ancestors were not obese, it's not your genes causing obesity.
Uncle died at 770 lbs, Grandpa was 380 when he died. Grandma was very heavy, could barely walk around when she died in the late 80s. All on my Dad's side. Moms side is not nearly as big. I do believe weight gain is hormonal more than calories however, we are all heavier.
What is your vitamin D3 blood level? I stopped having colds/flu when I got mine up to 50 ng/mL but my target is 70 - 90.
Most people are also seriously deficient in D3, magnesium, potassium and boron.
I take 5k IU a day. I do get sick every winter. I thought about a vitamin D light, buy everything is so expensive. I should probably up my intake. What do you suggest?
Depends on your body. Get a blood test every 3 months. (Don't take D3 during the 10 days before the test.) Keep increasing the dose. Aim for a D3 level of over 50 ng/mL. Also note that there's D3 and "D3". Some of it is fake. Go for cholecalciferol in liquid form if your "D3" isn't increasing your blood level. Maximise sun exposure but note that people over 65 gradually lose the ability to produce D3 from cholesterol and sunlight.
You can try red light and IR, they're pretty cheap. Also make sure you have enough calcium to uptake/store the vitamin D.
I was going to say fasting. He should be doing 16 hours every day or go longer and eat one meal a day.
Why? Fasting removes shit from your system. Your body spends 50% of its immune system energy; just keeping shit in place.
He should be supplementing with Zinc, Vitamin C and D.
Do you use liquid Zinc or pills? I stopped buying walmart and found zinc makes me nauseous. I will get more next trip to the city.
There are different types of zinc.
https://www.onedaymd.com/2021/03/types-zinc-supplementation-absorption.html
Sorry bad idea. Fasting suppress the immune system. When you come out of fasting (re-feed) you body will create mysenchymal (sp?) stem cells and new white blood cells. It's wildly healthy but not when ill or recovering from surgical injuries.
Fasting boosts the immune system.
In your earlier comment, you called 16-8 time-restricted eating a fast; it is not.
Your odds of entering a fasted state during a 16-hour window are very low. You will enjoy weight loss and some moderate clinical benefits for glucose control while doing TRE. If your last meal had any appreciable amount of carbs or glucose, you're not going to clear the glycogen from your liver in a 16-hour window to get any additional benefits
Actual fasting is wildly beneficial and triggers cellular apoptosis, autophagy, white blood cell production, and mesenchymal stem cells upon refeeding. It is dangerous when sick to engage in prolonged fasting as your immune system is suppressed by your body being in a fasted state. Your healthy cells go into hiding during an actual fast so autophagy and apoptosis can take place.
So OP should get better and then do some prolonged fasting to trigger that needed cellular cleanup and metabolic recharge.
Except that I have tried this. I went from 320 to 270 by only fasting. At first you adjust nothing on your food intake. I did double lunches, after 3 months I couldn't finish a normal lunch.
Once you start feeling the carbs go away at hours 14, getting to 16 hours is hard. Then you slowly restrict more until you feel it at 12 hours and still go to 16.
People talk out of their asses too much here.
Bro...
You didn't read what I wrote, and now you're saying I'm talking out my ass?
I am a literal expert on water fasting, biological fasting, and all things related to it. I have trained countless PCP's on how to use biological fasting to improve metabolic syndrome, inflammation, and other fat westerner conditions. I can tell you the medications that block the fasted state the most popular being Metformin (very ironic) and the fact that caffeine in excess of 100 milligrams opens up your PKA pathway and decreases the benefits of fasting. We could discuss the contraindications for engaging in actual fasting, as well as which medications need adjusting, stopping, or rule you out entirely from trying the process, but nobody cares.
In the last 20 or so years I have completed over 40 five day biological fasts.
What you are doing is very healthy and you've made some nice improvements. You are just tickling the window of an actual fast with what you do as you need to shut down all 3 of your nutrient-sensing pathways to be in an actual fast (mTOR, PKA, and IGF-1).You need to fast for 48-72 hours to shut them down (feel free to use the internet and look it up).
Good on you for losing a lot of weight, cutting carbs, and engaging in an aggressive form of TRE or IF. Time to stop talking out your ass and telling me I don't know what I'm saying or that it's a good idea for an actively sick person to not eat for 48-72 hours and try and fast their way to health.
You are arrogant as F. From your first response to this.
Thank you for your time.
Yeah saying "sorry bad idea". And giving a very casual overview of the point reeks of arrogance. Keep down voting me too bro, it breaks my heart. I guess you used AI to fact me though or you'd be telling me I'm wrong...
Started a 12 hours into a 72 hour fast. I will break the fast with two boiled eggs and a hamburger. If still sick, When I do eat it will be only boiled or fried eggs and burgers until I feel well. Thank you :)
Grok told me this a few days ago; however, I find his health tips follow what general medical theory is. Pill for every ill...
I went 2 days w/out food durinf the fever bought. I just couldn't force myself to eat. I will probably try again. Your advice is good!
First off, that diarrhea can deplete your water levels and keep you dehydrated, so drink LOTS of liquids to replace the water you're losing, and water with electrolytes (or Gatorade) would help too. After you get over this bout, start thinking about long-term health, with vitamins, turmeric, quercetin, and zinc.
Refuse any flu shots, and if you don't know by now about the injurious COVID shots, well, that's an entirely different matter.
I drink water with Redmund's sea salt. I do need to get some vitamins again. I hoped I could bypass the vitamins with the hamburger, eggs, and cheese. Part of the reason for this post was to get sime ideas for my first health options for my B-Alive health run tomorrow. Thank you for the advice. Adding these to the list.
Update: I have drank about 72 ounces of water ( sea salt in it ) in the last three hours. I started feeling a lot better and will be slowing my intake. Thank you for this advice!
Water not only purges toxins from the body, but the brain needs hydration to function properly.
NAC may help clear out the lungs. Recommended by the IMA. https://imahealth.org/protocol/flu-rsv-treatment/ Edit: Dairy foods are highly mucus generating. May want to avoid them for now.
Something I did was go for an easy half hour walk around noon. Thankfully it was warm enough that I could put on shorts and get some sun exposure at the same time. Also recommended by the IMA.
Lysine is good for the immune system. There is also the vitamin C and lysine artery cleanse protocol.
Congrats on the weight loss, fren!
NAC looks good. Thank you 😊
Man, I’m so sorry you’re sick like this. You likely picked up something at school—a real breeding ground. Congrats on the weight loss! Keep at it.
I just want to add that I use DMSO for colds and congestion. I apply a tablespoon on my clean chest with a cotton ball (full strength or a 70/30 solution) and typically the symptoms are gone in a day. It’s like miracle liquid. See A Midwestern Doc—The Forgotten Side of Medicine on Substack for several comprehensive and well-researched articles on DMSO. It heals cataracts, corrects strokes, cures reflux—-it’s amazing stuff.
Your body is seeking balance right now. Rest, bone broth, salt baths, no dairy, vitamins C & D. I don’t know where you live but ten minutes of sunlight a day along with fresh air will do you a world of good. Get outside for a walk.
This is good advice- DMSO is my next purchase. Everything is so expensive that I got Ivermectin and CLO2 first DMSO after Christmas was a solid plan. I hope to get rid of the floaters in my eyes. I never knew I could use it for chest colds. Thank you!
There is a nasal spray CofixRx.
Kills everything.
https://comparemaniac.com/cofixrx-nasal-spray/
Trying this. Thank you.
It works.
The minute you feel the symptoms I use it.
My husband has the flu and so far I am good.
Thank you Jesus.
Not professional advice, but this is what I would do (and I have not seen a doctor in 15+ yrs) if I were you.
Heat, fluids, and lots of vitamin C. Soak in a steaming hot (real hot, but not scalding) tub of water for 15+ mins. per day, at least one or more times per day. The goal here is to keep your core body temp high to help kill germs. May work, may not, but that's the first thing I would do. Drink lots of fluids, and take vitamin C. Zink, and magnesium vitamins are also helpful. Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.
I wonder if I could sit under a heat lamp?
No, I wouldn't do that. Soaking in hot water will raise your body core temp much better, and without the risks from the lamp.
{edit} A sauna or hot-tub might work too, but Ive never tried those. Mainly, you want to be sweating when you leave the water.
Sadly, we only have a shower. I did have some long hot showers with the exhaust fan off. I do feel a bit better but still coughing. Today is the only sunny day. Even though it is 16 degree high, I am starting a fire in the fire pit. I will pit a fan on the fire and burn through a lot of wood. Hopefully I can get it hot enough to get some sun today. Thank you.
One of the best solutions I've experienced for myself is to soak in a hot bath of organic apple cider vinegar (1 cup) and epsom salt (1 cup) for at least 20 mins. Then I alternate (next day) soak in hot bath with 1-2 cups hydrogen peroxide. The epsom salt is magnesium and apple cider vinegar is rich with acetic acid. It helps balance the pH of your body. The peroxide bath helps oxygenate the body. Don't buy Bragg brand apple cider vinegar though...Katy Perry is part owner of the company and I had heard she wanted to only use Bill Gates' APEEL coating for the apples. I also like oil of oregano for fighting sickness. Additionally, I take trace minerals trace minerals I have read that supplements are great but lack the ability to fully perform when the body's levels of necessary minerals are low. Prayers also make a world of a difference. Looking forward to hearing you are better soon!
One thing to add - if you have started on Atkins/KETO/Carnivore or at least drastically reduced your carb intake then diarrhea is expected. It could last as long as 2 weeks while your body shifts from burning carbs to burning fat. You may have actually started into ketosis without realizing it if you are eating more protein and fewer carbs - even if you aren't actually trying to.
Your other symptoms could be as simple as allergies. Look at what I have today in East Texas:
I had to look it up the other day when my nose started running and I would sneeze 4 or 5 times in a row several times a day. I didn't think of tree pollen being extreme in December/January.
That is something I never thought of! I have an old allergen filter fan. I got it from my Dad when he passed. I run it in the spring and fall. I am going to trun that baby on :)
Congratulations on the significant weight loss. Based on your other comments it sounds like you are doing everything right. Your body decided it should activate all your waste elimination pathways at once.
That makes you uncomfortable ("feeling sick") in the short term, but healthier in the long term.
If you still have the cough and wheeze, you can either power through it knowing that your long-term habits are moving you in the right direction and that it will resolve on its own with time, or you can try nebulizing peroxide or CLO2 for more accelerated healing. Be mindful of the nebulizing measurements if you do.
Meanwhile keep drinking lots of water with the sea salt to avoid dehydration. I personally would avoid herbal medicine as much of it suppresses symptoms similar to pharma meds, albeit with less side effects. But only you know how bad your symptoms are, and sometimes temporary suppression is helpful. But based on your diet and habits, it sounds like it'll resolve despite being uncomfortable.
My biggest issue is that I can't sleep for the coughing. I am SOO TIRED! I know this too will end. thank you
Nebulized hydrogen peroxide did a great job for my lungs. I did 5ml of saline with 0.03cc (it's a very small amount, I measured it with a diabetic syringe - 3 "units") of 3% hydrogen peroxide, the same stuff they sell at pharmacies and grocery stories.
Trying this today. I still have an old nebulizer from when my children had RSV 15 years ago.
Fren, I have no additional advice but wanted to wish you wellness and peace.
Dr. Lee Merrit has a series on CLO2. For flu or covid-like symptoms, I believe she recommended a round of higher dose CLO2 for 24h and a slow release nicotine patch (or a couple for the 24h duration?). One big thing to remember about CLO2 is that if you take a bigger dose than normal, it can give you irritable bowel (gas & dhirrea) so it may make some of your symptoms worse during that 24h period.
Trying this today as well. I am sure I will be either better or miserable:). I am fasting and getting sun as well.
Check out Fuel Up also look for John B. Wells' channel on Rumble. Find his link to his Fuel Up product. It is working for me. I had the same symptoms you are.
Thank you, checking both out after I hit send :)
I think this can be normal. You might be at the end of it. D and K vitamins... and of course vitamin C! I am also in my 50s. I really think what you eat matters but also, when you feel better ad at least an hour walk a day. I feel like adding exercise has benefitted me this year by not getting sick and I have so much more energy now. Sending prayers of healing and peace! Happy New Year!
Thank you for the advice, encouragement, and prayers. I am rather physically fit. Even though the scale says (Morbidly obese) people are shocked when I say 330 lbs. At least I don't physically look as fat as the scale says :)
I know, everyone is built different. Good luck! Never surrender!
I am getting over the flu, bronchial cough, sinusitis, fever/chills/body aches, headache. It's been going on 2 weeks since it first started and feel like I am finally getting better. I have been taking colloidal silver 1 tsp three times daily, Mucinex as directed, Monolaurin pellets 1 tsp twice daily, and just added Natures Sunshine Sinus Support an herbal mixture that has really helped the sinuses and cough. Not sure if you had/have the same thing but maybe some of these things will help with your problem. Good luck and hope you feel better soon. Sucks to be sick.
Colloidal silver, Monoclaurin pellets are things I know nothing about and will research. Do you have a link to get me started? Thank you for your help. I am also glad your getting better!
Silver is a natural antifungal, antiviral and antimicrobial, a good brand is Sovereign Silver or Natures Sunshine Silver Shield. Tiny silver particles in solution, no bad taste, hold under tongue for a few seconds and swallow. In the past Colloidal silver was given in too high parts per million doses for arthritis and it caused the skin to turn silver, Modern lower parts per million a no longer associated with the above problem. Monolaurin is converted from lauric acid found in coconut oil. It too is a natural antifungal, and antibacterial, antiviral We buy Inspired Nutrition The ultimate Monolaurin. Of course stay on top of your Vitamin and Mineral supplements, D/K and Vit C. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated. I think the diarrhea may be flushing out toxins.
Wow, great info!
Thank you so much to everyone for your advice. I have learned more about health from this site than anywhere else in the last few years! I have avoided the doctor for years because of this wonderful community! I do admit I feel sicker the last few weeks than in the last few years. This has been nasty so far.
