I was there that night. January 3rd. It was chaos from the first second. They came with 8 helicopters... low, fast, almost silent at first. About 20 men total. Special forces.
They dropped drones before anyone could react. The drones released something... sonic waves? I don't know the name. But it hit us like hammers. Ears bleeding, heads exploding with pain.
Hundreds of our men... just dropped. Disoriented, vomiting, unable to aim. Some were screaming, holding their heads.
Then the shooting started. Not normal guns. Rapid, precise. Like lightning from above. They barely touched the ground and we were already losing people. Our radars? Gone in seconds. Power grid down in the area. We were blind. Completely blind.
They moved like ghosts. No fear. No hesitation. We fired back, but it was useless. They had technology we couldn't match.
I saw at least 100 of ours go down... maybe more. Soldiers, guards, even some civilians caught in the crossfire.
The Americans? Not one casualty that I saw. Not one. They took the objective, grabbed who they came for, and left.
It wasn't a battle. It was a demonstration. They showed us what real power looks like.
After Trump spoke on Fox about the cartels... now everyone in Latin America is afraid. This could happen anywhere.

This actually jibes. I thought it seemed a bit "off" that the US was able to land helicopters on a foreign military base in the middle of the night, extract a high value target in a heavily guarded compound, in under 30 minutes. That's insane, like something out of an action movie.
More like a video game where you grind and grind for days until your character is 20 levels above where you are in the game. Then you go back to progressing the game and your character slaughters everyone and is nearly invincible:)
