When most people hear "MSM" they think the big networks...CBS, NBC, etc.
We have to realize that the little local affiliates across the US are also bound up in their insanity. The local stations get their scripts and marching orders from their corporate overmasters and don't deviate from it. So don't even trust your local "news" stations, they are just toadies and puppets of MSM.
THAT'S BECAUSE the BIGGIE NEWSIES are "paying these stations" to carry their shows and if they don't ---- no payee!!!!
In reality, there really are no 'local' stations. Media Conglomerates own lots of stations and dictate the 'slant' of the news that they relate. I don't remember which affiliate it is, but of the two locals that I watch, one is owned by Tegna. They own 68 stations in 54 markets, so if you watch one of them, you'll be watching the same thing as all of the others.
They are literally MainStream Media.
In the late 1990s there were 34 new agencies. Today there are 6 corporations that own all main stream news. They get their 4:00 am talking points and run with them.

The MSM has ALWAYS been a mouthpiece for those with deep pockets attempting to both keep them deep and deepen them even more AND every intelligence apparatus on the planet feeds them information - BAR NONE!

There hasn't been a reasonable take on the "news" for decades - where they showed even a glimmer of empathy or their humanity...Now it's ALL agenda driven bullshit at every turn. They need to be made completely irrelevant... not linked. Not quoted. You need to realize that EVERYONE you see on TV is either an intelligence operative or working for them in some capacity. YOU are the miserable slobs they portray that you always think is somebody else, way the fk over there. It's not. They think it's you. You are the enemy to them... and they're doing their part so their masters can continue stealing generational wealth from you and your family until you have nothing left... and then, they'll come after your soul.

NO mediators but Jesus. Presently, I try for a hybrid model - take in information, remain skeptical, and go with what I feel led at Go-Time, but hybridization is always weak compared to the true thing.
Even the people we like are mediators. Yes, they seem more earnestly intentioned than the corporate shills, but even they admit that their narratives and analysis are getting pushed and suppressed inorganically outside their control, and they can still be misled, corrupted, mistaken, etc.
One means One. I suspect we eventually have to get there somehow.

I'm enjoying people calling them "Legacy News" I really like it, but i use MSM a lot too, old habits die slow. I think MSM prefers being called MSM and not Legacy News.

In the Chicago area, we turn the 6 o’clock news on at 6:15 to watch the weather and sports. Then it’s on to Wheel of Fortune where, almost every night, one of the 3 contestants is a black woman.
I’d say that while black woman are Less than 8% of the population, they are about 30% of wheel contestants. Racist much?
Oh, and half the time when they have a white guy on, he is overtly gay or has a husband. My wife is addicted to it. I just make fun of the woke contestants.

I don't watch the news or read papers and I'm extremely selective about my sources of information. Turning off my television a decade ago was a great decision. I only hear about their lies and propaganda on here.
