This song has been on repeat for several days. I heard little snippets for weeks and now that’s it’s released I keep listening. When A Cowboy Prays, the words are so powerful and can be applied to any, not just cowboys. But, I think we all have a little cowboy in us. Artists are Brandon Lake & Cody Johnson. I’ve listened to Cody since the beginning. He’s always speaking at his shows about being American, loving this country and supporting military. Before music he was in professional rodeo. Here I am thinking this “new guy” Brandon Lake was invited to sing. Sometimes I think, I live under a rock. He’s playing football stadiums not little small time. Guess he’s a pretty big Christian artist. Normally I don’t care for Christian artists, seems like they could be like most evangelicals. I know nothing about this guy but I do like his songs. I go from one extreme to another. I’m a huge Elvis fan and can’t believe I’ve never heard this song. After hearing “I’ve never been to Spain” and researching I found out it’s been covered a lot over the decades. Three Dog Night released it in 1971 & written by Hoyt Axton. Ike & Tina absolutely kill it! I can’t believe I never heard it, I grew up on 70s music.

Anyone here with a managerial background? I took management classes in college, but that was decades ago and I never ended up in a managerial position anywhere.
There is an employee who does the job perfectly yet is incapable of dealing with others with kindness. A very formal person who takes her job very seriously, but when others make mistakes, she runs them down, borderline vicious. Again, the work as process compliance is without mistake, but people cannot stand her. (Lonely cat woman.) Such a person will have a negative impact on morale and the work atmosphere has changed since she took the position.
At least as far as American managerial tactics go, shouldn't such an inability to treat humans with respect and grace be considered in employee reviews? It's not really to the point of being power harassment, but just making people feel like shit takes a toll on morale.
