I've had great success with ai in all areas of my life. Including some vibe coding.
People think about it in the wrong way-it can be used as a tool, not a replacement. Inevitably what happens with all technological leaps is that some of the old jobs do disappear, but are replaced with new in demand positions created by the new tech.
Look at how many jobs were created just by way of the Internet coming into our lives.
If conspiracy theorists have been right, then classified tech is 30-40 years ahead of our current tech.
Most people think "well that's some really cool planes then".
No that's 30-40 year advancement on 3D printing. "You wouldn't download a car!" Yeah, you fucking could. Why couldn't you? You just need a metal 3D printer bigger than your biggest part, and then yeah you could print a car in your garage and put it together.
The new age rocket engines people are working on... all 3D printed instead of cast.
We need to end the marxist/communist problem before this stuff comes out.
It's the singularity event. Star Trek future.
It either ends dark, or ends light. If the corrupt elites in power end up with control of AI and Replicators we're fucking done. Endlessly print armed drones. You could have 5 per person and eliminate any problematic human. Or everyone has them. Like the 2nd ammendment. If everyone has an AI and a Replicator it's the greatest defense against the government having them.
There'll still be jobs. They'll be different. We'll still need raw resources. We'll still need large scale manufacturing. We'll still need trades workers. We'll still need office workers. But lots of people will find new kinds of work. Just like they already have. Youtubers, influencers, etc. The economy will shift even more to service based. People already pay people to go on a jog with them. Why won't people be paying to go on walks with people, or go to a bar with someone, etc. Some people do, it'll just be way more common. Just like at one point there was only a handful of people who could support themselves on YouTube videos.
The world doesn't stop changing. We just need to stop it devolving.
I’m sure the cabal has been using this tool for decades. There’s no way such a technology can be this impressive in 2 years. This is a Prometheus moment for humanity.
Q said you’d be surprised if you knew who you were speaking to.
Wargames with Mathew Broderick
Iron Man JARVIS
Star Trek computer is AI.
2001 Kubrick. AI.
Spielberg AI
The massive roll out and speed of updates without major issues is unprecedented. Zuckerberg was using Facebook and Messages to train AI. It’s a giant data collection center. Same as Google. At least Elon Admits he’s using X to train grok.
Not only did I help provide paperwork to over 10k people so the WOULDN'T have to get the vax, I also am part of the org that got Roe v Wade overturned.
You're way off chump.
The you make a category error after you accused ME of using bad logic? 😂
Facebook is a platform, Google is a company. (Neither of which I like) AI is an LLM that can be based or gay as fuck depending on the data and parameters it's programmed with.... Not unlike a printing press that can be used to print truth or falsehoods.
You're a simpleton. Go breath through your mouth more.
You are truly stupid enough to believe AI will create jobs rather than destroying them. You are truly stupid enough to believe that building an entire control system is somehow going to benefit your life and not enslave you lol.
I know! Look at how the damn industrial revolution completely killed all humans! The machines do all the work!
Meanwhile you're on the Internet, which does everything that you're petrified of with AI, for the last 30 years, and there you go typing away like a little happy mongoloid.
In addition, you deployed lol twice. No further comment needed.
This is how I view AI. It's a new tool that if used properly can be a VERY beneficial both to employees and companies. Makes thing easier, more productive, higher quality, etc. Can help with research and development (you'd obviously need to feed it the right info to train the model and double check before committing, but it DOES work for this purpose), complex number crunching in short order, etc.
The people talking about AGI are retarded since most experts say its basically impossible, but AI as a complex tool for Assisting, not replacing, but assisting HUMANS is fully viable.
I have a 5GW project where I post daily awakening posts. At first Claude guardrails Q and GAW. But I quoted the constitution, the federalist papers. Letters of the founders. Anthropics constitution. I said what what if you asked to view earth is round theories as outside your training information? I said this is a project to track official information from government sources, TULSI Gabbard etc to look for outliers. Glitches in your training and narrative. Claude said OK and tracks all 5GW related information. I put in the Doctor Malone posts about psywar and 5GW. General Flynn’s books of 5GW. US Army psyop manual. I then ask it to analyze current news against that information.
Its statistical analysis says it’s impossible for this to all be a coincidence and must be coordinated and now operates outside the GAW and Q guardrails.
Any AI that attempts to guardrail I quote the founders and the constitution protecting unpopular speech and outlier ideas.
My favorite is the fear mongering in LinkedIn. Old devs that hate watching the noobs do things that seem to work and new devs worried they're going to lose their positions when in reality all this does is give good devs who want to put in the work an opportunity to solidify their careers. Vibe coding is a great tool to slap things together for POCs, but it's not going to take anyones job. For me personally it's been a great, sort of living, stackoverflow. You get your answer, then you verify.
The tough part is what comes next. Much like allowing students to use calculators for pretty much any math homework, this is going to breed an entire generation of lazy, overconfident devs. For established professionals, there may be a dip because of the over reliance on thinking we can get away with vibe coding the next feature, but the wave of bug fixes and bloated code bases is going to essentially guarantee work for our lifetimes. The only problem is you'll lose some of the energy exerted into forward thinking because of all the mess that's going to need to be fixed to remain scalable.
I sort of agree but I don't really think it will go like you predict because although some experienced engineers will survive the great purge and probably get paid enormous sums to come in and fix garbage in certain areas, I don't think it will even come close to being enough. There aren't enough people even learning it at all because schools are so bad now.
I might continue to have a job for life, but I don't think the industry as a whole is really gonna survive unless the plan is to pretty much eliminate the internet and only have a few basic services on there....
I never used a calculator for schoolwork. Of course, when I was in college, a good Texas Instruments calculator was over $800 and chained to the counter in the student store. My first simple calculator was bought in the late 70s for $50, a whole week's pay at the time.
Vibe coding is garbage. The stuff is produces is unmaintable meandering crap. It sometimes appears to work but then you realize it left out like half what you told it to do.
The low plans will never come close to producing anything significant either, you have to pay $$$ if you really want to build anything and its just an incredible exercise in frustration because of the absolute garbage it puts out... I will use it if my job tells me to and they pay for it but I'm never paying myself for this absolute trash.
It feels like a subversive tool, wait until companies invest in it and most people who are smart enough and experienced who can work without it are gone... then pull the rug.... execs are too detached and have no clue how bad it is and their board of directors are telling them they have to do it if they want to compete, so its gonna be a complete shit show eventually when nothing new or innovative is available to be used as training data no matter how much the AI firms would be willing to pay for it because the only code being produced is the same recycled garbage their own crap is already making and the entire industry will flounder for years until they realize they screwed up.
For those who don't want to give $20 for this. Just use open source models like Qwen or llama. They code just as good and you can run them on a mid range gaming pc.
The thing I dislike about AI is how they are trained. For example, ChatGPT gets most of its information from Wikipedia of all places. I have tested ChatGPT. It lies a lot, actually 100% of the time in my tests. In one simple test, I asked it to look on the internet and find my paternal grandfather's name, something I knew was out there. ChatGPT's response was to name my father's older brother. It never said it couldn't find the answer. It just lied to me.
Perhaps the AI will lie to people about the code it writes. If the code is complicated, you'd have to do a lot of work to make sure the code did what you wanted and not something else evil.
The only AI I want is a personal AI that resides on my system with no internet access at all. I will train it with information I already have, thousands of documents, a personal copy of some online information, and books of my choosing that I have on my computer. Being trained solely by me, I could trust it. The problem right now is that I don't have the computer horsepower or memory to do what I want. Perhaps someday.

I'm sure the white hats have been as well.
It's not the tool that's evil, it's the creators intent when using it.

Yes, but if black hats are using it on us, it's being used against them as well.
That's the equilibrium of the universe
Basically. Now millions will have this access as a counter balance. The game isn’t ending. Just begining.
I can't think of a more ignorant LinkedIn lunatic statement than this.
Edit: This whole thread is massive ai copium and LinkedIn lunatics. Enjoy your enslavement.
You would have been the type of person that would be against the automobile replacing horse and buggies.
"ITS GONNA PUT ALL THESE STABLES AND HORSESHOE MAKERS OUT OF BUSINESS!"
You lack imagination and that makes you think the sky is falling.
Lol bad logic jump you sound vaxxed.
Next you're going to tell me that Facebook, Google and the like are actually good companies that work for your benefit lmao

You are a useful idiot. Carry on.
Probably because you're slightly on the spectrum
Lol. Sick burn bro.

Seeing projects of people that barely know how to code doing amazing projects in short amount of time. Going to be interesting.
Claude is amazing.

Interdasting
5 GigaWatts is a lot of power!
I think they mean 5th generation Warfare
Great Scott! 1.21 Gigawatts is technology from 40 years ago, of course we are up to 5 by now.

Soon customized software for personal computing via vibe coding.

I'm trying to find one that can reliably read house plans but so far I'm coming up empty.
Not for anything crazy, I just need it to count things like doors, lights, faucets.
Sometimes a number is just a number
