Yeah, hubby and I aren't quite to 65 yet, hubby is close but not there, and can't take advantage of the other stuff, like no tax on tips... Hope he has something up his sleeve to help those that none of that stuff helps. Get rid of income tax! It would be nice to get rid of state tax too.
Trump needs to start looking into home insurance costs. Just got another hike in our insurance rates &/or taxes for our home. For the last I don't know how many years now, our mortgage payment has gone up around $100 +/- each year because of escrow, on top of paying the extra escrow before they change the payment to see if you pay the extra escrow or add it to your new payment.
I think that's a great idea if you're in that income bracket. I don't have to file a tax return due to my low income so it doesn't help me at all. But I'm glad he's helping others
Crazy. He should be giving that money to young families of MARRIED CITIZENS who have kids. The boomers don't need any more freebies. Think about what they already got growing up:

Please enligjten me on the freebees Ive received. Ive paid o er 600k in taxes, ss etc in my lifetime. Then wrote another check dor payment up to and including my life when I did a career in the Mil. Most of us have done nothing but get robbed. I still grt taxed on my property for schools that I have zero kids in. You sound like a jealous underacheiver.
I'm somewhere between but I recognize how easy the boomers had it and how hard the gen-z kids have it, and to see a stimulus check for the boomers is a farce
