I am watching the weather readers hype up this coming winter storm like the end of the world is coming. They are saying this is a once in a lifetime storm. The forecasts are all over the place and changing every day.
I saw an article where Trump supposedly said there is a storm coming.
It occurs to me that the media never tells the truth, and that this hype may just be a scare tactic to keep folks from focusing on other events.
They say this crap every year.

KEK ! thats the weather people when they give the report on tv. They get all excited, and start coming up with new weather words.
I grew up at a state directly in the path, and the forecast is life-threatening ice accumulation and snow. The total expected accumulations are embarrassing to say the least. ( comparatively ) I already lived through several once in a lifetime storms in my life there and two other places. Why does this keep happening to me :)…..

...or, this is a way to artificially keep people close to home while something else is happening.
I’ve thought about this for years. A snowstorm is one of the best places to get a lot of key people stuck where they’re at for a while. If the roads are impassable they’re impassible even for most wealthy insiders outside of personal helicopter wealth, and those of course are easy to track. Those kinds of roads are usually far less impassible for military and police vehicles, especially with plows escorting them, and certainly not for helicopters. Just imagine NYC and a bunch of other northern cities totally buried with the plows conveniently called off for just this once…
