We're used to the cold, everything is open but when I was out running errands no one was out shopping. The weather isn't too bad right now.

Well dang I don’t feel right complaining about the cold. It’s 49 degrees in eastern NC. By tomorrow night or Sunday morning we will have the winter storm. Probably ice. I’m not looking forward to this. I keep shorts out year round and flip flops by the back door. Might be 70-80 sometime next month. Stay warm fren.

Thanks fren, you would probably not have any issues in this weather. I don’t envy you one bit. If I didn’t have family and loads of money I’d be on a on flight to Hawaii to skip this junk. Heck I’d probably live there if I could. No worries other than praying hubby doesn’t fall in the ice, we should be fine. We have four generators. The original is thirty years old, bought it after went through hurricane Floyd flood with out power. Since then we have picked up more on clearance. He bought one still in the box from a friend today for $100.00. My daughter and dad’s houses are next door & he will keep them going.

Thanks fren. Eastern NC & always on the border between very bad and sorta bad. I don’t know why the line is always on I95. I don’t have a good feeling about this. Normally I don’t prepare because we haven’t had much in decades. 88 or 89 was the worst ice storm I’ve seen. Praying it’s not like that. Thankfully I don’t by bread at the store & by the more expensive milk. Heading out to get few things. My husband has worked all morning getting things ready. My family does nothing but will call for a generator when the power goes out. Praying for everyone’s safety.
