I have found that Facebook has become mostly useless in having some dialogue with leftists (they block your posts :) ). However, I started using nextdoor.com for learning about things more local, and surprisingly, have been able to carry on some "conversation" with the leftists. The site has banned/deleted ANY political discussion in the past, but I have been pleased to find that lately that is not happening. The number of people you can reach is limited, since by design, the site is for local events, local issues, etc. However, I think if each of us is able to get through to at least ONE hopeless leftist, we could make a difference. I encourage everyone to join this site and see if you are able to get some truth out to these people.

They do care about local issues. Property taxes are forcing seniors out of their homes even though the mortgage is paid off!
How can anyone be said to "own" the home they paid for over the decades of their working lives, if the county [local] government can force them to pay many THOUSANDS of dollars per year, or they will literally TAKE if from you!
For what? School taxes mostly. Parents should not force seniors out of their homes to "educate" their kids with bloated unnecessary programs and facilities.
I have been on the property tax crusade ever since my Great Aunt had to sell off pieces of her family farm, just to pay the property taxes.
It is a HORRIBLE injustice!
Not only family farms, and not only property taxes! MANY family businesses had to be sold for inheritance taxes!~ Local manufacturers that had been in business for generations! So corporations bought them and moved the manufacturing to China, Mexico, etc.
Not only theft, but destruction of family enterprise, traditions, local employment . . . heck the entire culture~ for TAXES!~! [feature not a flaw?]
The school taxes are really ridiculous here in the NE U.S.! The cost per student per year now tops $20,000, with some school districts probably close to $25,000/student/year! And when it comes to property taxes in general, my wife's parents bought some land in coastal Maine in the early sixties that now has annual property taxes in an amount about equal to the original price of the land! (and no significant improvements to the land have occurred; you could actually argue that the structures on it, so very old cottages, are now worth less due to the effects of 60 years of Maine weather :) ).
I PAID for my kid's school in addition to the property tax, and the cost per student was ridiculously less! But I STILL had to pay the outrageous amount per student for the kids in public skools through property taxes!
How about parents paying for their OWN kids' educations!! Except for the truly needy and indigent. What a concept! WHY NOT? Why do middle class and wealthy parents suck the living blood out of other taxpayers for their "free" education?!? Soccer moms vote for any school levy, despite robbing from others who actually pay to educate their children, seniors, etc.

I just checked and my school district here in NY (Dutchess County) spends more than $27,000 per student per year! It's even higher in New York City. NY has the average highest cost per student in the country!

I think a few can be awakened and it's worth the effort. That one person you awaken might then awaken a few people they know.
All due respect, your cause is noble. But many of those people are not going to change their mind, just like they are not going to change your mind. They need to feel the pain of their decisions and words from a random person will not likely change that. Not saying its impossible but certainly improbable. To them we are just Magats to yell at and spit on. We dont need that crap. We got Trump in office and the power to clean things up legally.
Im saying this because it is so easy to fall into a trap of being full of rage. Those people are in that trap and I dont want to go down with them.
I don't think the full-rage TDS people can open their minds, but there are a lot of people who still vote for Democrats who may be open to the truth, and if enough alternative information hits them, they might think, "Hmmm, maybe there is something to all this talk about the lying MSM"
It is the job of people to wake themselves, they must have the desire and be open to ideas to which they do not cling with a death grip. No one has the power to wake another.
When I post on next door its usually against our local communist newspaper. They liketo post anti Trump and his admin . I also post against local , state and fedral taxes. I was banned in 2019 for 10 days for trying to bring up the child sex trafficking in relation to the cartels. So now I mostly post against the local news. Everythings a battlefeild at this point. So load up on memes and facts to support the memes. We are winning!
I'm in a few facebook groups for my small blue city. admins recently opened it up for political topics so i'm shouting the TRUTH at the top of my lungs (with a couple of other great patriots). it's what little I can do.
If some of the past election results are true, where Democrats only won by a few percent, then every person we are able to wake up could make a huge difference.
I've been banned from next door dozens of times. Liberal mods own that trash dump.
If you are the original poster of something political that is against the narrative of those leftist mods, it is likely to get flagged and stopped. However, if some leftist idiot posts something, I have found that I can reply to their posts without those replies being taken down as long as there isn't profanity or outright name calling, etc.

I have created groups for various subjects there. If you post in a group it's allowed to be political or about whatever subject you want, it's only the main feed that is limited to local issues.
The trouble with a group, like on FB, is that you probably only end up getting information out to like-minded people. The TDS is clearly apparent when you venture outside of your normal internet associates. Those people may not be reachable, but there are leftists out there who I believe can still wake up.

I live in a town of 4000 , I probably know what's happening by going to Walmart. BTW I've been seeing people collecting signatures for the property tax thing at Walmart. They looked like leftys so maybe this is a coming together issue

nextdoor.com is not Facebook. It's like FB, but instead of a network of people you know, or even being in a group of people of like-mind, nextdoor is based on locality, down to as small as a small part of a town.
