Dumping their kids off as soon as the fun & glow wears off from being a new parent. So sad. And I’ve listened to moms saying it costs as much as they make to put their kids in daycare, it’s their MeTime and time out of the house. 🤮
Just watched a video on YouTube of a mother in Auburn Washington, taking her daughter out of the school. The staff were completely oblivious as to what was wrong with letting the kids out to protest ICE. These teachers are so far gone.
This will keep happening as long as an education degree is the criteria for hiring teachers. Unless they switch to professional competency as the criteria for hiring (thus enabling people who are capable but have not been through the communist indoctrination that an education major receives) -- this is going to go on indefinitely.
Until then, pull the funding for any school that indoctrinates children.
These teachers should lose their licenses for child endangerment.
Also, don't field trips require a signed permission slip for parental consent, this is going to be one hell of a lawsuit, even if the parents are libs, the money from such a lawsuit is too tempting.
I am grandmother of a 7-year old first grader and a 4-year old. How do you find out if your school is doing this? I’m not too concerned as my area is very red with conservatives on the school board. The principal at my granddaughter’s public elementary school graduated from a Christian college. They say the Pledge of Allegiance every day and in summer school last year they had a big production we went to for Flag Day. I don’t think this is happening here but I guess you never know. That’s why I was wondering how you find out if this is occurring.

The librarian is a Christian as well and the principal is too as I previously mentioned. This year in first grade has me concerned. The teacher’s FB was ok but for some reason I checked out her father and he’s a lunatic lefty so I have been watching things closely. Wish me luck!
I saw the short & longer version of the mom going into the school and taking her daughter out yesterday on X, saying she doesn't feel her daughter is safe at that school and she was pulling her out of that school. Mom told her daughter she was sorry & she could still be friends with her best friend and that the daughter could pick whatever school she wanted to enroll in within a 30-minute drive from home.
I was born in 1956. Never attended kindergarten, none of us (8 kids) did. I thought we were poor. My mom said she thought kids should just be kids one more year, until first grade. A lady smart for her time.

Get involved. Meet the teachers. Ask questions. Get in the PTA if you can. Good luck.
