Wait they didn't catch this person? This is the second time someone attempted to burn down an ICE or DHS facility and got away without being identified this week.
Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, an ambulance was stolen from a bay at St. Luke’s West hospital.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, drove the ambulance through the parking lot and retrieved gas cans that were staged in nearby vegetation, according to Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea.
The suspect then drove the ambulance directly into the North Portico building, which houses DHS offices, Basterrechea said.
Investigators believe the suspect poured an accelerant inside and around the outside of the ambulance.
However, the suspect was unable to ignite the accelerant before being scared off by responding agencies, according to Basterrechea.
How can you be so inept not not light gasoline? Fortunately ‘they’ ain’t too smart.
Also “scared off”, so this guy also managed to escape?
Staged fuel cans? Surely that’s easy to trace.

Or he used those EPA fuel cans and couldn’t get them to open…for most of us we can’t stop them from leaking half the gas as we pour it.
The security footage would be nice to see…

I’m surprised he had the time to steal the $100,000+ ambulance, pour gasoline inside and ram it into a building and get away. That’s a lot to have happened in what had to be a short timeframe. Ironic he couldn’t light it…
